Luxury fit-out as per the standard of most fine dining restaurants in Mandarin Oriental around the world. Excellent value for set lunch in my opinion.
The entree, main were both impressive. Usually the main in restaurants always let me down however Le Normandie was an exception, both of our main being the lamb cutlet & the barramundi were succulent and well presented.
The deserts tray and the way the waiters paint a picture using different cream were astonishing.
Thailand does not have Michelin guide however this restaurant in my opinion is worth 2 star.

Amazing food, stunning views and the best service I have ever received in Asia. Truly an epic experience filled with decadence and wonderful Thai hospitality.

I was invited to celebrate the signing of an important contract, and we decided to book the best restaurant in town. We choose the "degustation" menu with the wine pairing. As I was the only french person at the table, I was expected an ode to our gastronomy. Unfortunately, it was a disaster from the beginning. The breads was soft and unsalted; the white wine was effervescent on the tongue; the fish was overcooked; the beef was unseasoned; the cheeses were chalky; and the dessert insipid. The cherry on the cake was the service staffs pouring the wines over the limit, and pushing you to consume more.

In a few words: we both agreed that we haven't eaten anywhere this good in this country for a very long time. It was refreshingly brilliant!

Nothing to say, otherwise you should go there! Thailand is Thailand and the service is simply perfect. The food? Well you have what you pay for and it's just fantastic.
