Nanda Heritage Hotel was a great little Hotel! It looks rather plain from the street, but once you come in, it is amazing!
Rooms were clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful.
They say that there are tuktuk rides to tourist places near, but you have to ask them about it. We asked for a taxi and didn’t realize they offered free rides until that evening.
Overall, a wonderful place!

We have stayed 4 nights in this hotel in Bangkok. In general the hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. The only struggle for us was to reach the touristic places in the city as the location of the hotel is not so centrally located and you need to walk through some bad districts which was difficult for us especially in the night. However there is a free tuk tuk service of the hotel 5 time a day to Grand Palace and Khaosan Road.

I read the reviews, was a little hesitant but booked anyway. I am not sure why there are any complaints. Perhaps people’s expectations are too high. Perhaps people are not well traveled and do not have much to compare this to? I don’t know.

We stayed 4 nights. Last stage of our honeymoon. We have spent 2.5 weeks at 5 star resorts and I still thought this was wonderful.

Anyway, the staff are exceptional. Full stop. Every single one. Especially Eye in the restaurant who we fell in love with. So much kindness and happiness.

The restaurant food is a bit pricey but amazing quality.

The rooms were spacious, immaculate and comfortable. The aircon was the only downfall, it was rather loud but we are good sleepers so it didn’t effect our sleep.

Our room was on the main road but never heard the traffic.

It’s loud in the open lobby area but I don’t sit around lobbies generally.

Breakfast is a buffet. It has toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit and you get fresh eggs cooked your way every morning. The buffet included fried rice, a Thai dish, sometimes spaghetti or potatoes or some westerner ‘lunch’ type meal. Plus tea, coffee, juice, fresh milk. Some of the foods were cold in the bayonets but it was quiet when we stayed so not much people to eat all the food. That’s the only downside, which we thought was great!

Good happy hour every day too.

We walked to Khaosan Rd and local restaurants (lots around!) it took us 20 mins to walk to Khaosan Rd through little alleyways and along the canal but the hotel offers free tuk tuks also.

We used Grab for taxi services and never spent more than 150baht anywhere in/around the city. From Chatuchak to MBK to the temples and the funny Unicorn cafe in the ritzy section. For us, location was ideal.

I would LOVE to stay again and the staff made a huge impression on me and my husband. We would definitely stay again and really hope to be able to in the future.

Keep your expectations in check. This is listed (and priced) as a 3-star hotel. Those complaining below seem to be comparing it to a 5-star, which is not an appropriate test.

The restaurant has surprisingly good food. The hotel is in walking distance to many other restaurants, night market, etc,. The staff is over-the-top friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious enough to allow a King bed and all our suitcases and computer gear (we are on a three-month trip around Asia, so have more than most people).

We did not find it noisy, even though our window overlooks the main road. The air conditioning is a bit awkwardly placed, blowing directly on the bed and not changeable, but sleeping with one small blanket made that no longer a problem.

Overall, we enjoyed it, and will likely stay here again if we return to Bangkok.

I visited this hotel with my boyfriend during February. The hotel is in a good location even if the neighbourhood is not so great. Our room was near the pool, so we could hear every single person spending time there and the view was terrible (grey concrete wall). The worst thing is that the air conditioning system is so noisy that we had to switch it off during the night and dying for the heat.
The breakfast was orribile.
I don’t recommend this hotel.
