“Simple but so delicious”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We have eaten at Zanotti on many occasions and it never fails to please. It might be a odd thing to do when in Thailand- eat Italian when there is so much amazing Thai food to eat but we love all types of good food.
This was not molecular cooking, not fancy over worked food, it was just simply cooked but it was made with fantastic ingredients, prepared with skill and it tasted great. We shared a caprese salad and a plate of salami, prosciutto et al to start. The burrata was melt in the mouth stuff and the pork products were delicious. Simple but it was good. Pasta was our next course. It was not complicated but well executed. My clams and spaghetti with parsley and tomato was great and my partner had fusilli and crab was deemed to be great.
The wine list is mainly Italian and includes several IGT bottles which we always look out for on Italian wine lists.
We finished with a great plate of Italian cheese.
It is a bright and cheery restaurant and the tables are always packed, so reservations are essential.
The meal was reasonably priced too.

“Dont go here with small kids, they are not welcome”
Reviewed January 19, 2013 via mobile

For many years this restaurant was a destination for nice italian food with at least 25 visits... Having introduced it to many of my local and foreign guests I was very disappointed to find out the restaurant has a very strict anti policy with kids ...for example at the slightest sound they are requested to leave the restaurant... Maybe forgot they were all children themselves once . At the same time its not like its a fine dining place as the cliwñ

Also they have a habit of bringing out the main dish for the guests at the same table at different times ie could be 10-15 minutes in between...not cool if you are entertaining a client or so ...

“Reservation reccomended - As Italian as it gets”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

The Menu is extensive and the wine selection is impressive. It is so close to the BTS station at Sala Daeng ( touristy area) but you will only find well heeled local businessmen at the jaunt.
We ordered a few dishes and they all were as close to authentic Italian cuisine as it gets ! The only deviation we saw from authentic were pieces if a big red Chilli in our Penne Arrabiata ( well, perhaps it was to add some local flavor ;-) !) It is not particularly a cheap place but not exorbitantly priced either. Most Mains are about 500-600 baht and photographs are generally not allowed in the restaurant. The staff is very attentive, fluent in English and know about the wine selection and food which is a great plus.

Make sure you make a reservation as the place is always full and give about 25-30 min for your food to be served.

Just walked in and were surpriced by their ambiance, food quality & service.
Also, had a good choice of wines. Great place for a good Italian meal.

“Between Silom and Sathorn”
Reviewed December 3, 2012

A place one has to try when in Bangkok. It is of exceptional quality. Not cheap but the food is worth it. Italian at it's finest.
