Wow, who would have thought that a small corner of France is tucked away in the middle of Patpong! Great house wine, try the rose. Husband had foie gras ravioli, brilliant, and steak tartare, not sure about that, I had scallops and a chicken dish. Well presented and delicious, and quite reasonably priced. Worth a trip

It took me time to decide to come to this Patpong area restaurant! but what a lost time. When you want to find the typical "bouchon " atmosphere ...this is the place to go and to return again and again. The food is traditional French cuisine, honest and with no "Chichi". The main menu is very large and the weekly menu uses the season products.
The owner, Monsieur Serge, is the exemple of what should be a restaurant manager. His hospitality is tactful , warm and generous...among the best France can offer!

I have been a regular customer of Le Bouchon since 2001 and I always enjoy a taste of real French food, with a twist of Southern French cuisine. The ratatouille and purée are fantastic side dishes. My wife who is vegetarian can always count on Serge, the owner, to cook something special for her. The Ox tongue is one of my favourite, with reasonably priced house wine, good quality expresso and a very French atmosphere that transports you in one of the small street of Lyon, overall a very nice evening, I will go back for sure.

The best part about this restaurant is it's location. It was fun to walk up and down Patpong streets before/after dinner. Unfortunately, the food was just so so. I had the frog legs and my wife had the pork cordon bleu and neither were to write home about. Staff was efficient but not super friendly.

The foods is simple but taste good. It is like homemade dinner that you actually have at your friend's house. It is simple and not pretentious.

I had duck confit, salmon steak, and lobster bisque. They are all very nice and match with wine very well. You can get authentic French cuisine here.

The bad thing about this restaurant is just its location. It is in Soi Phatpong which is not a good place to visit but after you get into a restaurant everything is fine. The environment is very homey and relax.
