Baiyoke Boutique Hotel

we stayed here for 7 nights , the photographer who took the photo's of this hotel should get a pay rise because the main outside photo is shown that there is open skys No way!!! it is at the Back of the Sky Baiyoke and at the rear of the hotel is a trainline and skytrain so it is surrounded by concrete!!! We never saw daylight. But it is clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very busy and is very noisey. But it is in the heart of the shopping area and is a shoppers heaven. The breakfast was good you had a choice of food. All the staff were very good and if we had any problems they sorted it out without delay.
This is a good place to stay if you are on a budget and dont mind the noise.
We did have a problem with cockroaches but it is the tropics. The Air-con also had a mind of its own...

Room Tip: Take earplugs because you will not get any sleep , people tend to run up and down the corridors and...

Horrible hotel. There's a extremely bad stench from the garbage outside the hotel, extremely weird stench in the corridor and room. The bathroom was old, disgusting and filled with cockroaches. I got this at a discounted coupon (so i asked for it). I'll never visit it again.

We booked the room through travel agency and after we checked in, we were given the room at the last three. First night we already heard noise from the bath tub and things get worse when we heard noise, footsteps and missing room card which was found at a place where we dint touched and our friend felt something cold pass by so we aware the room was haunted at 528! Scary experience in deed.. But the bell boy was nice and friendly, helpful as well when we asked the location we wanted to go and introduced us cheap transportation.

we stayed 2 nights here aand we got this hotel from travel agancy at the last minute while driving in bangkok. Also we were not expecting too much but for the price we paid we didnt get the value for money as it is expected in Thailand.

The only good points were the modern lobby and the nice view of top floor resturant for breakfast. toilets were not really good and the big problem was about the stairs. as there were half floors and we had to up or down the stairs from lift each time.

we recieved a free drink and a meal at the resturant at the lobby which were nice. the resturant at the lobby served us veryy late 11 pm which was great.

location was a bit cofusing as it was behind some other buildings and seems a bit dark at night but there were an indian resturant close by the hotel. we saw few stands selling goods at night just on the street next to the hotel. and if you walk for 5 minutes you can find some cloths markets which selling the local brands. unfortunatly we didnt have much time for shopping and we found out about this shopping markets while we were looking for a post office.

i will not stay in this hotel and will try to find better hotel with the same price unless i want to be close to those shopping areas.

For all the boutique hotel i've went, this is by far the worst. From the main lobby it looked chic. Once in the room, it had a weird smell. Normal aminities. Need to pay for internet which was a minus. The shower head was too low for me, 1.76m. Had to bend my hed when showering. The toilet tap had neither hot or cold water. Just normal. The bed was awful. Very hard and once i woke up had many red scratch mark. Bed bugs at its best. Location wise was ok just at the back of its main hotel, baiyoke sky and near bts. Better boutique options arnound at the same price.

Good value for money in terms of room size and general amenities. Unfortunately, service was unpredictable - some were extremely hospitable; some we caught on a very bad day. Generally safe and accessible (train station was of walkable distance; many concierges willing to lend a hand) and great bargain if you are keen on the Baiyoke Sky buffet (50% off for Baiyoke Boutique guest; not sure if promo is still on).

In our first stay, they gave us 4 rooms at 5th floor. All of us can't sleep as the atmosphere is horrible scary. Some of us heard somebody slam the door over a night long, and also heard somebody dragged the bed/chair. Some of us felt icthing all over the body when lying on the bed. Specially in room with even number, we heard the rail link passed, very noisy. In the next day, we felt so tired and unfresh. The breakfast on 10the floor is nice and have many various food. Then after stay for one night at Pattaya, we came back to this hotel and ask for another level. They gave us 4 rooms at 9th floor. This time, we felt different, we heard nothing weird sound. We can sleep well although the bed is so hard, but no itching. The dim light in the corridor doesn't good for guest, also the colour in the room, why choose black/dark grey, really horrible. The hotel is in the shopping area, but has to pass the smelly road to reach pratunam. Not recommend for family. There was a morning market (06.00 - 09.00) and night market (06.00 - midnight). Different seller, so go there twice.

Room Tip: Don't take room at 5th floor
