At the end of our Thailand-trip we spent a couple of nights in Bangkok. Having previously stayed in the Sukhumvit-area, we decided to do so again. This time we opted to go for a relatively new and modern-looking hotel we had spotted on a previous trip.

The S15 Hotel located on the corner of Sukhumvit and Soi15 is a great value and overall a very nice hotel even though it is right next to a very heavily trafficated road (Sukhumvit). The touch and feel of the property is very modern and trendy, with most of the decor being black and white.

If you're looking for a trendy, yet comfy, hotel on Sukhumvit, then the S15 is for you. We loved the spacious shower/bathtub room solution in our executive lounge room (think we paid for a standard, but not sure). The minibar is also well-stocked, and the inside/outaide street-side lobby café is very good if you like to take in the hustle&bustle and everyday life of the city.

Stayed here one night on our way to Cambodia. Arrived pretty early in the morning after a flight from London and the staff were great and checked us in after a 15 minute wait getting our room ready. Great breakfast and impressed with the location and the sizxe of rooms. Would stay here again. Very good staff.

I was a returning guest to this hotel and I like this option when traveling alone because it has the feel of a boutique hotel and with a good price tag.
When I stayed this time I was first of all taken to a Single Room which overlooked a very noisy street. So, I upgraded for a 500 THB fee and was placed in the Junior Suite (same room I was in for my last stay).
This room is awesome for the price.
I got it for just 2,500 THB and with the option of a free late checkout.
This is the best bed I have ever slept in and the room in general and bathroom are on a very high level (almost par with the Sheraton).
My main beef this time though was that I was on business and I needed to use the high-speed internet which was free with the room.
The internet was pretty terrible and was on and off.
Also, I assumed breakfast was included with the price of the room but was told (after I had eaten breakfast), that it wasn't. I wasn't charged for this though and the management could clearly see that I hadn't realized breakfast was at charge.
Overall an excellent option but make sure you get a room on the right side of the building and make sure ahead that the internet (if you need it), is working (!!!).

Dear ITTP,

First of all, thank you so much for returning and staying with us again. Also, thank you for taking your time leaving a constructive comment here.

In normal circumstance, our 7mbps wireless internet access is fast and reliable. Somehow, last week, we did have a problem with it since the signal from our Internet Service Provider was unstable resulting from the failure in some of the hardware in which we had managed to fix this. We can assure that the speed of the internet is fast and stable these days.

Nevertheless, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience occurring to you during your last stay. Hoping that we would have a chance to accommodate you during your next stay in Bangkok.

Best Regards,

Ratchatat Julajinda

S15 was more than we expected. The staff were excellent from the start. It's not a big hotel, but they have made the best use of it. The suites are big and luxurious. The restaurant is good, if a little limited in choice, but still good, the service was excellent though.
Found there was a good atmosphere within the hotel.
The spa/ massage was really good. The gym was very small though.
On a whole the hotel was great and the staff were excellent.
Definitely go back.

First of all, the only good thing about the hotel was its location. It's very close to Asok BTS station.

Rooms are small, we had to pay extra to upgrade to a suite, which is still small.

There were road works taking place right by the hotel on Sunday, as well as 11pm Monday night! Hotel took NO responsibilty and despite us requesting for a room away from the road works, she arranged one right above them on 3rd floor. The hotel has 8 floors and 50% of the rooms are located away from the road works. We suspected that she did it on purpose so we'd pay to upgrade. Apart from this receptionist, all other staff were very friendly.

The wardrobe is located inside the bathroom, very strange arrangement.

Anyway we are in no rush to return to this hotel

Dear aussierulesHongKong,

Thank you for choosing us during your previous stay in Bangkok. Your comment would be shared among us to whom have always been striving for a better customer service.

We are glad to learn that you liked the location of S15 Hotel and everyone here had been very friendly to you during your stay. On the other hand, we are deeply sorry for the inconvenience occurring from the work of Metropolitan Waterwork Authority during the night-time, even if we had asked them to finish their work each night before 10.00 p.m.

During May 2010, in order to keep our rooms nice and clean at all time, we were renovating 5th, 6th and 7th floor and that preventing any incoming guest to check-in on those floors. Another point is that every deluxe room located on the west side of the building (Soi 15 where there was a road work) while the east side is equipped with Junior Suite and Suite. I wish that you would understand that one of the receptionist who offered to upgrade you to the suite at a discount price didn't mean to make an extra money out of your inconvenience.

Thank you again for your kind support and understanding. Everyone here at S15 Hotel hopes that you would give us a chance to serve you again whenever you are back in Bangkok.

Best Regards,

Ratchatat Julajinda

Great modern hotel, modern black-white concept, quite and clean rooms, reasonable comfy equipment. Very personal and helpful service (f.e. storage of the luggage for some days due to a trip was no problem). Great loacation within Bangkok due to direct Skytrain and subway access. Spa offers good, sports, well very rare. Free fast wireless internet.

Good online offers!

Much hotel for moderate price!
