Go to Vertigo for the views not the food. While the food is fine (the steaks are actually quite good), you are paying for the view and the novelty of eating al fresco on the 70th floor of a building. Service was good and friendly--albeit slow (this was likley the result of the kitchen rather than the server). The cocktails were average at best but the wine selection was decent. As mentioned, the food is fine with the appetizers being better than the mains. We did not have dessert as we were full by the time we finished our mains as the portion sizes were great. Overall, we had an an enjoyable evening and as long as you go with the proper expectations (amazing views, high prices and average food and service) you will not be disappointed.
