The view from here is exactly like you see in the photos posted by the restaurant!!! You can see the entire city, which looks pretty tiny from where you are seated ! Great place to sit and have wine :) The seating is impressive with maximum tables around the corners for views! It is a very busy place, do not go without a booking ! The food options though are limited , esp vegetarian and portions small...go for the experience !

Even if you only go for a drink at the Moon Bar, it is worth it! The view of Bangkok at night is amazing. Sit and relax with candle light, enjoy a drink and take in the view.

Yes the view is amazing. Yes, there's a bar and restaurant on top of this legendary hotel chain. But really is it worth the time and effort? NO. We were at Nahm next door having our dinner and decided to pop over to see what's the fuss about. Firstly, I pity all the guests especially those bringing their other half for a special meal. It would be quite annoying to have guests headed to the moon bay by the truck loads walking pass your table. The management really should have a proper crowd control system. But I just put it down to stupid layout of the entire establishment.

My tip is go early maybe even before sunset, grab a table at the bar.. have a drink and leave after sunset. For dinner FORGET it unless you are loaded enough to book the entire restaurant.

We had heard about a few options in Bangkok where one can have a drink or a meal in the open air, on the 60+ floor. We chose Vertigo, which is the bar for the Banyan Tree hotel. It was a lovely evening and the setting is like a small area on a perch high above the 61st floor. It does get crowded and mostly its standing room only. The prices are most for the view.

A good alternate option to spend an evening. We were on a budget so only had a couple of drinks and savoured the 360* views.

I went there 3 years ago and I was delighted to go back there again. There are dozens of rooftop bars in Bangkok but this one is my favourite. You can really have a drink close to the edge of the building, which gives a very strange feeling, mix of peace and thrill. Also quite romantic.
We also enjoyed a drink, so can't tell for the food. The staff was polite and reliable
Tip: be there soon for the sunset and don't schedule many plans as you don't know how long you will want to stay there.
