Stayed twice; will stay again

Old Town Hostel is perfect, or close enough to perfect to meet my needs. Secure, clean, good staff, comfortable beds. Ten minute walk to the train station, cold beer in house, or a 7-11 just around the corner. The House guitar needs an e-String, that’s about it.

Clean and helpful staffs

Room and toilet is always clean. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Very strategic location, near ferry pier and train station. Laundry machine available which is a plus. Very comfortable and enjoyed our stay here. Suitable for family with teenage children. Transport is easy using Grab services. Love to come back here again.

Highly recommended

Pros
- Really spacious hostel with high ceilings and lots of charm
- comfortable lounging area on the first floor with tables and couches. Access to fridge, microwave, toaster and dishes
- Private rooms were big and comfortable and bathrooms were really clean and had a four showers and toilets
- access to three washer and dryers. About 80 baht per load
- on Sundays, they have a free brunch for guests which was a nice touch
- There’s a reason the hostel recently mentioned in the New York Times article ‘36 Hours in Bangkok’

Cons
- They could benefit from having a water dispenser to guests can use reusable waster bottles
- a bit of a trek to MRT station but still conveniently located

This place is awesome...
So friendly and chilled out with great coffee... great place for kids, close to fantastic restaurants, the river -get on off a boat visiting bars and restaurants...

Great Special Hostel

the hostel is very clean and staffs are very friendly, They have a great coffee shop downstair and all amenities are in great condition with pool table, laundry, hot water, TV room that you can watch any movie they offer. overall, we had a great time here
I would recommended this hostel for backpackers,
