Stayed for 2 nights in this amazing hotel in June 2009. Second time in Bankok and I found this hotel ideally located as it was only an 8-10 min walk to the Sky train (station Asoke) which makes it ideal to get to the main shopping destinations/ markets.

I thought the decor in the room was great with leather panels on the walls, silver wall paper, glass wall to the bathroom, seperate shower. The bed was so comfortable, just loved coming back to this room after a hard days shopping.

Some other reviews have commented that taxis don't know where this hotel is, you can ask the front desk for a card that has the address and map in english and thai to show taxi drivers. I have stayed in other hotels with this card and find that taxi drivers still don't know where they are going, I get the feeling that drivers don't read maps very well.

Also this hotel is located close to a number of bars but not close enough to hear any of them.

This hotel was part of a package tour so I can'y comment on the cost. The only very slightly negative comment is that there was no fruit bowl on arrival to the room, which is usual in 5 star hotels in Thailand.

Didn't have the chance to eat in the hotel restaurants but they had at least 4 to choose from. Overall I loved this hotel!

We have recently returned from the Grand Millenium Bangkok. The location, near the sky train (BTS) is very convenient for access to the great malls and markets, especially in the blazing heat which feels like a sauna.

The room - Grand Deluxe, was spacious, modern and very clean, I was a bit surprised there was no DVD player but it was no big deal, free wifi was an added bonus.

Surprisingly for us breakfast was included so on our 3rd day we tried it - the food was of a very high standard with a large selection to choose from. The lunch specials in the noodle bar for 99 BAHT (£2) were awesome and I would certainly recommend it if you're close to the hotel around lunchtime. We didn't eat dinner in the hotel as there was just so much choice everywhere we went.
We didn't have time to try the spa services, just the sauna/steam room which were very good indeed.

We rented the hotel car with driver for a couple day trips at a very reasonable price, it was the best way to see the temples in comfort and on our own timetable.

All in all the Grand Millenium is a great hotel with very friendly, helpful staff and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if you're planning a trip to Bangkok. We will surely stay here again when we return to Bangkok.

I liked this hotel so much so because it was perfect for me. Right next tot he skytrain station, and near the attractions-shopping malls....otherwise there is nothing special about this hotel. it is expensive.

The Grand Millennium is a fairly new property and was not on the bangkok taxi drivers map as they were all a bit confused on the location of the hotel. However, all confusion ends when you enter the lobby of this sail shaped hotel a little similar to the Burj in Dubai.

The lobby is done in a decadent post modern style complete with color and glass chandeliers. The staff as common to most hotels in Thailand are extremely courteous and attentive. The rooms although expensive are cosy and big with unique thai accents and having a huge glass walled bathroom in the middle of the room.

Hotel facilities include a small but awesome pool situated on the mezzanine floor with lounge chairs and a bar. The gym and spa are well equipped with all possible amenities on hand. The hotel has a couple of good restaurants and a bar especially the cafe on the ground floor and the noodle restaurant on the first floor.

The hotel is ultra modern and situated close to the shopping and nightlife districts in bangkok, overall a great experience.

Hi,

We were holding our annual business conference at Grand Millenium & our entire team stayed at the same hotel.

Its in one of the best location that you could get in Bangkok, in the heart of the business district. The Food & accomodation was top class.

In the flip side - would like to have a few dishes to cater to Indian taste.

Will defenitely consider staying in the same hotel again.

cheers
Prasanna

Being a new hotel when I checked in, I did not expect much and a lot of hiccups in the service, but to my surprise... right from check in to the rooms, the restaurants and the health services, the hotel delighted me.
As you enter the room what catches your eye is the European minimalist set-up and complete glass bathroom with a gorgeous tub inviting you to soak in happiness.
The staff is well informed (language maybe a barrier), and very helpful, the meals are excellent, the pool a tad small but still intimate... Grand Millenium is loacted in the heart of the city and is well connected.
A must visit, dont forget to carry your hotel address when you step out as its a fairly new hotel and not much know amongst the taxi cab drivers... go GM!
