Wherever you're looking to stay in the Khao San Road area, Rambuttri Road is the next street over and is much less hectic and the location I recommend if you're narrowing down options.

This particular hotel has some of the smallest single rooms I've ever seen, but the bathrooms are nice, air con is included, free wifi worked flawlessly in the room, TV had CNN, ESPN, FOX Movies etc. There are tons of dining options, some near the lobby and a huge restaurant across the street that does almost every western/Thai dish you could think of. Bed was not much bigger than the one you had when you were a child, and can get a bit noisy late into the night even though it's not directly on Khao San Rd., but it's gonna be hard to find anything better than this based on the price. Recommended for budget travelers who hate hostels

Wanted to book for another guesthouse with a similar name, but booked wrongly for this guesthouse instead. However, we are not disappointed at all! Room is clean and comfortable. You get everything you need: clean room, clean bathroom, cable tv, dressing table, bedside table, bedside lamp. Bangkok is pretty expensive considering that we came from Laos and Cambodia, but for this price, I think it is of good value. Tonnes of restaurants and bars just down the road. Convenient location. Will stay again if we come back to Bangkok!

Stayed here for 3 nights on arrival to Bangkok, fairly average. Staff are nice and welcoming but the rooms are very basic. Getting what you pay for. No space in rooms whatsoever so do not stay longer than a night or so. Air Con is good and good location to Khoa San Road.

Moved to here after staying in a nice luxury apartment in Bangkok, the main concern being security as I had a lot of electronics with me from working, the Guesthouse has cameras that are monitored from reception. The hotel is really clean, and for 600 baht a night for an air con room with a tv and hot shower its on the cheaper side, plus its on Soi Rambuttri which is a much nicer change than khao San. Had no complaints at all - perfect for travelled and those on a budget

Basically stayed here coz it was the first place i saw after getting off the bus and i just wanted to relax. Its not bad. Great location. Not noisy. Rooms are ok but u can get the same or better for cheaper if u just walk around the area a bit. What annoys me is the wifi. Its terrible. Almost non existant. They might think its no big deal but it makes a big difference in this day n age. She mentioned this and said if i had trouble to try it in the lobby. I did but the signal was to weak to connect. Frustrating.. Also there was no toilet paper. For 800 baht a night they should really provide it.. Also no fridge. Good security. About a million cameras. Lady at the desk wasnt bad but she wasnt good either. All in all not a bad place but you'd b better to walk around and find something similar for cheaper

Although more expensive then others, you truly get extra value for money here. The rooms are very clean and comfortable (on of the best beds I ever slept in). The service is excellent, so is the location (not to much noise at night). Aircon works like a charm, there is wifi throughout the building. No swimming pools here, that's another hotel with a similar name.
You can easily get a cheaper room elsewhere, but you won't get the same spotless rooms and nice staff.

Very nice for staying. The location is good. There are two swimming pool on the terrace. Rooms are clean. Incase of chaging booking you must use a computer located in the same site. Almost all staffs at the receprion speak English. There are some convenient shops near the hotel ,so very nice for buying daily commodities. Some banks are also very near within a few minutes' walk. The price is very reasonable.
