“Best boutique Hotel in Bangkok”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

This is just a Top class hotel... I really like the style and the quality, especially the overflow bathtub. The atmosphere is so relaxed and quiet yea your might need to get up from the chair and pick up the menu by your self but the food is excellent. If you like and demand a 5* hotel where you have a staff up your but all the time then you shall not stay here. However do you like top quality and friendly service in a quiet location in the middle of Bangkok, you have to stay here. All soft drinks are for free so when you go down for a smoke your coffee or coke is complimentary, nice...

Room Tip: The bigger room have complimentary minibar aswell.

Dear Khun Susan,

We really appreciate the review you have written. We really hope that others will appreciate our service as much as you are. I will make sure that our staff is more vigilance about guests while sitting at the restaurant but not try to intrude on our guest privacy while seating.

Its great when you find a hotel like this because you know exactly where you will be staying if you return to Bangkok. Only about 50 rooms and I believe they are all to the same high standard as the one I stayed in. The bed has to be the largest and most comfortable I have ever slept on and the bathrooms have to be seen to be believed. The location is perfect for train station and shopping and even though you are next to a very busy road there is virtually no noise. If in doubt ask for a room at the back which is a quiet road filled with restaurants and a great little coffee shop.
I was there for about 5 days and you could count on one hand the total number of other guests I saw so if you want to relax this is perfect.
When you enter the hotel or go for a meal or a drink its like you are in a friends house as everyone is so friendly.
Breakfast is not buffet style and you have a wide variety of dishes from the classic full English to the Japanese vegetable broth with conger eel. The honey brioche, French breakfast, was my favourite and presentation is more fine dining than breakfast and whatever you choose is acompanied by fresh fruit and yoghurt. This presentation takes time and so expect to wait 10/15 minutes to be served but its well worth the wait.
If you are one for fine details this hotel is for you as even the morning coffee cups and cutlery have been carefully chosen.
I had my evening meal there a couple of times and the choice is limited to a couple of very fine dining set meals. I see that another reviewer though that the chefs take on a dish didnt live up to his expectations but I really enjoyed the food and the chefs interpretation of the dish.
If you travel anywhere in the world tipping in hotels is the norm and although it has been mentioned in another review that this is a no tipping hotel unless you are from Scotland or Catalunya please feel free to join the rest of the guests who do reward excellent service.
Nui has been mentioned in other reviews as a star and I would most definitely agree and the fact he has lived and worked in London, Manchester and Scotland means his English is excellent and he can help you with any advice on what to see and where to eat etc. This does not take away from the rest of the staff and I would like to give a special mention to Pat, Nate and Mai who helped make my stay so relaxing and enjoyable.
Thanks to you all and hope to visit again soon and please keep the all day Happy Hour for hotel guests!

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much for the detail outline of our services. Our staff really enjoy serving you and they appreciate being recognised by you as well here on tripadvisor. We hope that you will visit us again soon. I am so embarrass that my staff maybe compelled to take your tip when offered. I am trying to teach team the value of service that we do it for the joy, to be proud of ourselves and not for the tips.

For future reference for other readers, guests do not have to tip, staff receive service charge in full on our property, at 10% of every sales we made. In addition, Thais do not tip other than leaving some leftover change from the payment at restaurants and Thais do not normally leave any tip if service charge is already shown on the bill.

Kind Regards,
Wikki

Enjoyed most everything about the hotel, including the special attention to lighting and the infinity jacuzzi in the bathroom. THe room rate was not inexpensive relative to Bangkok, but I felt was well worth it given the high quality environment and service Maduzi offer. HIghly recommend this boutique hotel for Bangkok visitors

This is a very anonymous hotel, unknow by taxidriver but centrally located near Terminal 21 shopping mall and Asoke BTS station. Small and beautiful and rarely crowded. One can normally enjoy the restaurant or the bar alone. Or with just a few other guests. Breakfast is wonderful. Staff very attentive and friendly.

Room Tip: When you book a room, be sure not to get it facing the main road outside, coz it is noicy.

Dear Khun Stisse,

The room facing the back roads are Number 1, 6, 7 of every floor. In your next booking please request these rooms in advance. I know that even double glass window panels, Bangkok traffic can be quite noisy. We have notice this same requests from a few repeat guests from Europe. I guessed Bangkok Motorbikes are very noisy at night. Sorry that the noise has bothered you and we hope that we can select for you a good quiet room next time you have come.

Beautiful hotel! The room was huge (it was actually several rooms), staff fantastic, good food and drinks. The hotel allows early and late check outs, and this suited perfectly as I arrived at about 11am. The hotel is situated about 5 mins from the trains, and it is really easy to find a taxi or tuk tuk. The only thing that is missing is a pool. When I come back to Bangkok I will return!

Dear Khun Clare,

We hope we can serve you again in the near future. I know being such a hot weather we should have a pool but unfortunately we don't have enough space in the allow permit to build the pool. In our next hotel I will definitely make sure we allow big enough space for the pool. In the mean time for Maduzi, we hope that the Jacuzzi in the room would compensate our lack of pool. Thank you very much for your 100% review and its really boosted our moral with such great review.
