MA  DU  ZI is a fabulous and quiet hotel i truly feel at home during the stay .

The rooms was luxury with a jacuzzi bath and big comfy bed .
The staff were so professional , helpful and very friendly
They offer to the guest complimentary services such as coffee, tea and refreshments in the bar , cocktail hour from 6-7pm , free minibar ,   Wi-Fi internet connection , Meeting room usage , early check- in and late check- out . I don't need more !

I really liked this hotel and the many positive reviews are right on. The only issue is that there was no concierge or front desk person on duty at all times to handle any inquiries or give information. As well, the place seemed to be too quiet and subdued at times. Good place if you like that. Overall a very good hotel.

Stayed a couple of nights here just before Christmas having done quite a bit of research. To me, the perfect city hotel. Really lovely staff - the manager drove us herself down to a restaurant as she 'was heading in that direction', great location, and one of the best hotel rooms I have ever stayed in (in its category, of course). Stayed in a corner room with huge (250cm wide!) bed, huge bathroom with wonderful dressing areas, work areas, Italian expresso machine. The list goes on. Had lunch with friends staying at the Oriental and were so relieved not to be staying there with its pokey rooms, chaotic design and overblown reputation. Also tried the Metropolitan on our return from the south for a change and was severely disappointed - apart from the food and the service! - with its dated 90's Uber-Uncool vibe. But then virtually anywhere would be a disappointment after Maduzi... There are some fabulous places to stay in Bangkok, but hardly anyone had heard of this little gem when I asked around. Coupled with the greatest guide in town (Bob at Bob Transport) this was one of the real highlights of the trip.

Room Tip: Corner Suites are superb.

We spent a week here at the end of our three month trip to Thailand and was a great way to wind down. The best ever jacuzzi infinity bath which fills from the ceiling, and each day you are provided with a tin of bath salts to enhance the experience. And if you are not relaxed enough, a giant 8ft wide bed with heavy linen and deep mattress provides a good night's sleep. The studio room has everything you could dream of - we were on floor 'U' - each floor is a letter from MADUZI, and had a nice view over Soi 16. The in-room lighting was special with sensors around the mini-bar area (which was once-stocked with complimentary soft drinks). Oodles of bottles of water were provided, as was a hot vacuum flask for tea, and an espresso machine for coffee.

We were also provided with hot complimentary drinks at the circular bar, and having read of a previous Tripadvisor's recommendation of their hot chocolate, I was hooked on it each day. The hotel is very close to Benjakitti Park, just over the footbridge, and my morning fix of hot chocolate was a great way to start out before my two laps of walking round the park.

We were at the hotel on Christmas Day and we booked their set lunch in the restaurant, prepared by their Japanese chef, and this was superb, all graciously served, as was everything in the hotel. The staff were always very friendly.

The only difficulty we encountered was the wifi not working in the room, and either had to take the laptop to the bar or Coffee Allley cafe next door.

Will remember our stay for the best jacuzzi ever.

Room Tip: They all look good

Spent 5 nights here,...2 at the beginning and 3 days at the end of our trip to Thailand. It has the feel of a private hip club. It's fairly quite but considering Bangkok is outside your door it is just right. Staff and service is lovely and welcoming. Rooms were outfitted beautifully, some of the best sleeping we had. Nearby sky train and groovy Thai shopping at Terminal 21 shops a plus.

Second time staying and thought it may not be as good as I remember but I was wrong. This is a text book boutique hotel. It is stylish cool and private - the perfect urban oasis in the middle of Bangkok. The staff are some of the most engaging of any hotel and really do meet the customers needs. I had one memember of staff insist on coming with me to a potentially flooded area of Bangkok in case I got into trouble!!

The rooms are great, large and very confortable. Note the bose cinema system for fun and the inroom printers for business. The ceiling filling jacuzzi tubs are huge and a joy to sit it.

Last but not least, the hotel restuarant. Rated as one of the best in Thailand. It is tiny but very cosy. Serves french-asian fusion food but is more french with a twist. 3 types of fois gras!!. Very michelin in style and great for a treat.

Two criticism - my favourite wine had ran out in the restaurant and the McKormic Salt and Pepper grinders on the table - totally out of character for the dining area with its Schott glassware and funky cutlery

Room Tip: All good rooms!!
