This hotel is very basic - the room we had was large, clean and with little furniture or charm. The staff was unprofessional. The free transportation to the airport is the only plus.

We asked the front desk to call a taxi for us to go downtown, and was told it would be 500 baht. When the taxi arrived, we insisted on using the meter. The taxi suddenly 'did not have enough gas' and let us off 1 block from the hotel. Apparently the woman at the front desk and the taxi were working together to fleece hotel guests! We were able to get another taxi that used a meter, and the trip downtown cost 200 baht.

We would not stay here again because of the taxi scam.

Adequate airport hotel but not recommended if you are planning on spending anytime in Bangkok. The superior room (1100 THB in Nov, 2008) was clean and very large but sparsely decorated (e.g., no chair, alarm clock, or night table light, and only 2 hangers). They were punctual with my 6am wakeup call. No shower enclosure in the bathroom. There is a fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of water.
Payment is upon arrival and while they accept Visa, they tack on a 5% fee. Booking with the hotel requires payment at time of reservation to get the lowest price. Booking with www.booking.com gets the same low price without the prepayment.
The hotel has only 5 floors, but there is no elevator. To avoid lobby and traffic noise, choose the 3rd floor, especially rooms 303 to 309, which do not face the highway. There is a dead bold latch on the door for extra security. Check that the balcony door is locked. Have fun figuring out how the shower works. The sink only has cold water, but the hot water in the shower is decent.
Their "continental breakfast", which is served in their simple outdoor restaurant, consisted of: orange juice, tea or coffee, 2 toast, 2 well fried eggs, a slice of deli ham and 2 small cocktail wieners plus a small salad.
The hotel provides free pick up and return to the airport, which is less than 10 minutes away. Pickup location at the airport is on the 2nd floor (departure level) near the information booth by exit door # 3. For the return to the airport, the hotel shuttle leaves hourly on the half-hour.

It was a great place for a quick stop over. We arrived BKK at midnight and needed a place to rest before the flight to Phuket the next day. Don't expect much to be around though if you arrive late like we did, the only place that was open was a 7-Eleven and it wasn't a pleasant 10 minute walk to get there. We should've taken the bellguy's offer when he asked if we wanted some food and beer delivered to our room. Or, it would've been nice to bring food from the airport. Oh well, whatever, we didn't know!

Staff were very nice, great service overall. Breakfast is included in your stay, and 1 way airport shuttle services too. Don't worry, it's only 150 Bahts per room for the way back to the airport. Very clean rooms, working AC, and a TV. Though they have a weird shower system, there is nice hot water and towels, just sufficient for that quick 1 night stop-over. Can't complain for that price and it included all our basic needs.

I stayed here just to spend the night and fly again the following morning (rather than wait at the airport). It's very convenient indeed - just a few minutes away from the airport, and they have free shuttle services to take you back to there. The room was good and clean, there were hot showers, a decent breakfast, and very helpful staff. I was alone and I didn't encounter any problem with the hotel, except for the airport taxi who "pretended" he got diverted to a much longer route in spite of the fact that i showed him a largely printed map of the hotel's location.

All in all, for the price it's well worth it for a short stay.

As most of the other reviewers say, this is convenient and basic. I wound up spending a night at the Novotel which was kinda fun because it was over the top luxury which i don't normally do, but when I looked at my receipts, the Convenient Resort won for value. It was $29US with a transfer to the airport.
My only problem was that I booked it through a booking agency last minute and the "deposit" of $2.98US hadn't gotten to the hotel in time so i wound up losing that but my impression is that a reservation may not be necessary. Bottom line, it's a really cheap (and clean and safe, my two requirements) place to spend those awkward hours between a late night arrival and an early morning departure from the "new" Bangkok airport.

Had a very brief stay in Bangkok, around 10 hours, and needed a bed. This hotel (not sure about the resort part!) suited us fine. They picked us up from the airport, gave us a clean room, a wake up call, fed us breakfast at 5am and then drove us back to the airport for under $40 AUS. Good Value!!
It was maybe a 10-15 min drive from the airport. The shower was very "conveniently" placed over the toilet!! A bit wierd but wet and warm water to do the job.The breakfast was pretty ordinary, but adequate, overall no real complaints. Can't really complain for the price anyway.
I wouldn't want to spend my holiday here, but for a quick stopover, it is a great alternative to the expensive Novotel at the Airport.

We booked this hotel on the day of our stay due to last minute change of plans. We got an excellent rate for our one night stay and were greeted at the airport for our free transfer to the hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly from the guy that greeted us at the airport, the reception stay and the other staff in the hotel. There is also a small restaurant at the hotel which was very cheap, and the food was nice. The hotel also provides a free return transfer back to the airport. Can definitely recommend for an overnight stay less than 10 minutes from the airport.
