The hotel is clean, the beds comfortable, and the bathtub is huge. The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance of the Bangkok art gallery (which is fantastic), a major shopping centre, and the train line. Unfortunately when we were there (last week) the protests outside went into the night. This meant little sleep due to the noise of the loud speakers. Also the protestors had blocked access to the train station so we couldn't leave the area easily. The roads are also blocked, and congested with people protesting, and with people selling clothing and food.
The restaurant in the hotel doesn't cater for vegetarians so perhaps eat in some of the nearby restaurants instead.
I would recommend waiting until the protest issue has been resolved before staying in or near Siam Square.More
