“Excellent Hotel”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

My partner and I stayed here in June for 3 nights and it was such an awesome experience. It was my first time in Thailand and Bangkok and what a great introduction in to what it had to offer. The hotel was very clean, very modern and close to MBK and other attractions.

The buffet breakfasts were nice and well presented. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a bar and restaurant on top of the hotel that has great views, especially at night and the pool overlooks the city also.

Very good hotel overall.

Room Tip: We were on the top floor with the kitchen and bar above. Sometimes you could hear them cleaning and...

My husband & I had 3 nights at this hotel. The location was great for shopping & sightseeing. The staff were helpful, courteous & genuinely friendly. Our room was ample in size & had all the amenities we required.
It was my husbands birthday during our stay: we arrived back at the room one afternoon to a lovely birthday cake.
The hotel itself is architecturally stunning & the design & décor are well worth the stay alone. Every time you look somewhere you discover a new little eye catching piece of art work or design- this is a great example of modern Thailand.
We did not have time to sample all the venues available at the resort but those we did we were very happy with.

My partner and I have just had three nights at the Siam@Siam.the hotel is clean and well positions for many of Bangkoks attractions, the rates are good, rather odd having the lobby on the 3rd floor though, The pool and outdoor area are good, DO NOT miss a trip to the roof to see the view at night!!.
FRom here we took the sky train to visit the river and temples.
The decor is unusual!! all a matter of taste?but the breakfasts were excellant and the staff mostly polite. we did have one issue in the restaurant when the computer broke down and our bill was miscalculated? but this got sorted to our satisfaction so no problems there.
It was just a short walk to the huge MBK shopping complex so that took a fair bit of our time. We found the most delightful Thai/chinese cafe in there which I will review seperately.
All in all a good experience and I would choose the Siam again if and when I return to Bangkok

Room Tip: were were on the 15th floor with no noticable noise? and good views though a trip to the roof for th...

We stayed on our Honeymoon, on arrival we were met at the door by desination asia, our travel agent who was fantastic throughout our stay, if you get Angie you are in very safe hands. She showed us around, recommended tours and tailors and even came on one of the private tours with us. Siam@siam has 3 great places to eat, although slightly pricey the roof top restaurant is fantastic, it has great views and the service was equal to the views. The rooms were great, good size and bathrooms were fine... The shower over bath worked well. Sometimes you need to give and take. I do agree with some reviewers that the lighting of the bathroom is somewhat strange. When you close the bathroom door it doubles as a wardrobe door, it has an automatic light and awakens you at night. The locations is what draws this hotel for us to stay again, its walking distance to MBK and the skyrail is right next door. All round we recommend this hotel

Spent 3 days at the Siam@Siam hotel on the way home from Koh Samui. Hotel staff were very welcoming, room was clean, and the pool was refreshingly cool. A great spot to explore Bangkok from by foot or tuk tuk. Breakfast was good, and the bar was a nice place to stop at the end of a hot day. Would come back again when next in Bangkok.

Room Tip: Try the sushi bar on ground floor.

Chose this hotel because I saw it on a travel show once. It really lived up to my expectations. The drive into BKK is always not as pleasant as I like it to be... the traffic, the pollution, the sweltering heat... when we finally pulled in at Siam after a u turn through the Tesco parking lot, it was a huge relief.
check in--painless
decor--very chic and inviting
food--great selection
cleanliness--immaculate
size--very decent
breakfast--good selection
bed--pretty firm but comfortable
pool--beautiful but deeper than you think
view--meh...nothing special

A friend living in Thailand joined us for dinner--Party house one--and the food was great.
Then we went to the roof top bar for a few drinks. lovely atmosphere, very relaxed and chill and not pretentious.

The hotel is located very close to the Jim Thompson museum. I really liked the museum and made the effort to go to the Jim Thompson outlet on Sukhumvit 93.

The hotel is also walking distance to all of the big shopping mall. Location was great!
