We spent 3 nights here last week while in Bangkok. It had been recommended by 2 travel agents and we loved the location. However, we felt that the decor was too busy and a bit much. While being in a big crazy city we felt that the hotel was just too much to come back too.
Breakfasts were tasty and the sky bar was incredible with views on the top floor.
Overall the service was great and we did enjoy our stay as the location was fabulous!

Just finished our 10th stay at Siam@Siam, again stayed in a Grand Biz class room although the layout of the normal room we stay in had been changed so opted for a different floor. If you stay in club room don't eat breakfast downstairs in party house 1 make sure you go to the club lounge as its more like a 1 on 1 experience. Most days we ate there over our 7 night stay there was one or two other groups in there at the same time until 50 or so downstairs.
Location is a must for us being so close to MBK, Siam square, Siam Paragon etc. Lek massage basically next door is the place for a massage if you want or need one. Make sure you go and see Jim Thompson's house, it is around the corner basically and a sight that must be seen.

Only negative thing I can say about the hotel is the towels need to be updated. Seem to be the same since we started going there about 5 years ago.

Will be back for sure again soon

We stayed at Siam@Siam for three nights when we were in Bangkok, and as soon as we arrived we felt like VIP's. When we checked in at the reception we were given an upgrade, and the 'Grand Biz Class' room we stayed in was amazing. One thing I do care about hotel rooms is the cleanliness and this room was sparkling clean. The staff were extremely helpful when we had problems, and always had a genuine smile on their faces no matter what time it was during the day. The interior of the hotel was modern and artistic. Although the buffet breakfast did not have the widest variety of food, everything that was there was nice and of good quality. The location was great and close to the major shopping centres. All in all, our stay was very enjoyable!

We had four nights in the hotel and we found it to be very comfortable and central to everything. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was food not great but good. We paid for a club room so we could go to the drinks and nibbles on the 23 floor from 6pm to 8pm, you help yourself to the drinks and canapes and look out over the city. Great views from the balcony. only 10 mins walk to mbk shopping and a quick taxi ride to markets and restaurants.

Room Tip: Choose a club room. Higher floors, quieter and great happy hour a and views.

We have been last week for 6 Nights in the Hotel. We have choosen the Hotel because of its Location, the Pool and the Skybar.

The Price for the Room is for Bangkok standard high. But well, its worth the Location. In 2-4 Minutes you are in the MBK or in the Tesco Lotus.

The Room was neither small nor Big, a standard sized room like you get in an Ibis Hotel. The Design was nice and something different. The Bed was really great! Big and Comfy ! Now to the negative Parts:

-The Restaurants at the Top of the Roof are ridiculously overprized. 800+ Baht (20 Euros) for noodles in Bangkok ?!
-The Skybar itself has a very nice view. The Cocktails are very good so the price of 350 baht is ok, But to prize a beer at 280 Baht (7 Euro) or a coke for 160 Baht (4 Euro) is also too much for Bangkok.

But the overprized food and drinks are not that big of a problem since there are good and cheap foodcourts in MBK, Siam Center and Tesco Lotus which are max 5 minutes away from the Hotel.

- There are only 2 Elevators in the Building. During Rushour it happens that you have to wait for a long time till an elevator comes.
-The most negative part was the limousine service. From the Airport to the Hotel we took a normal Taxi and with the Fare+Highway Toll+Tip it costs us 500 Baht. So when they offered us the limousine service to the airport for 500 Baht we accepted. Well when i have an Limousine Service i dont expect the driver to ask me for the Highwaytoll of 25 Baht. (I know with a Taxi it is normal). I gave him 50 Baht and the driver paid and didnt return me the Change. I was just WTF !?. Its not about the 25 Baht but i dont like getting [--]. Especially not when i have an Hotels Limousine Service. Well he gave him himself an lesser Tip than i would have given him.

we took a short stopover on route to Phuket, the hotel was very much over rated by House of Travel. The pool was horrible soooo cold, the lobby was on the 2nd floor and the lifts a pain in the butt. Breakfast was very average. But it was very central to the MBK mall and other shopping. Probably won't stay there again as not visiting Bangkok for awhile.

Room Tip: 14th floor was good very quiet but the lifts took so long to travel up and down.

BEWARE - DO NOT STAY HERE, THEY ADD THINGS TO YOUR BILL TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU... After spending two nights here we had been having a lovely time, though when we went to check out and pay the bill they had added things that were incorrect - eg.. Charged 660 b for sangria drinks that we NEVER ordered and were also charged for a long distance call to a Thai mobile number that we DIDNT make - when we stated this we were told it was on their records so it was just too bad for us. I asked them to ring the mobile number we were being charged for contacting - which they wouldn't do and when I asked to speak to the manager he came and told me this number was recorded against our room so maybe we just called and hung up but we would still have to pay the cost. (we made exactly two calls during our stay - 1 to reception and 1 to the concierge and that was it) .... There is no one else to take the complaint to so we had to pay otherwise they would have just deduct it from my credit card. Bitterly disappointed as that experience ruined our entire stay!!!! never going near the place again!!!!
