Very Very nice.....You can ask for a smoking room if you're a smoker (I'm not), and they are very accomodating.Breakfast was perfect and the top restaurant view was stunning (dinner there for both visits) although it rained slightly both nights. Will most certainly be back there....forgot to mention it's a small train ride to the MBK shopping centre (just like a normal Westfields) and markets where you can barter yiur hearts out.Got suckered into a "ping pong" show.... be very wary as you pay to get in, watch the "shows" after which the "girls" hit you up for a free drink for them... felt obliged as I didn't want to find anything "unusual" in my next beer... and I'm not talking a ping pong ball!!BUT, when we got up the leave, the "madame" demanded $5 baht off us.... there were only four of us (incl 2 Aussie girls) and we'd had one beer each and spent probably about 30 minutes in the place. On refusing, she got only a mobile and began nattering our descripions to "someone".... playing the betting game, I suggested we mark this up as a lesson learnt, pay the bi*ch her money, and take off.... better than a visit to one of their casuality wards with a couple of cuts.... now where was that guy selling the tasers again... anywhere close??? :) Anyhow, that was the only bad experience... probably karma some might suggest... and I would agree....Anyhow, back to reviewing Siam Siam, NOT a table tennis tourament.... the hotel is truly lovely, and we'll most certyainly come back.... (but not for a game of ping pong)!
