This place is fantastic!

To many times I've stayed at a place that rates itself higher, but falls much to short. Rooms are big, staff are friendly, service is prompt, nice big pool, beautiful breakfast buffet, and it was one of the cheapest rates I paid on my honeymoon! Also conveniently located near two major shopping malls.

The only complaint I have was whenever I tried to call for room service, the lady would say 'sorry' and hang up. She clearly couldn't speak english. I don't expect everyone to speak english, when english isn't the first language, but I feel working in customer service at a hotel restaurant, when the majority of the guest don't speak Thai, it is essential. Other than that, everything else was perfect!

I selected this hotel for its location as it is a mere 5 minutes walk from MBK mall. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. We opted for a junior suite and ended up staying in a 1BHK apartment. Very spacious rooms and was equipped with a fully functional kitchen, though we never got a chance to use the same. The breakfast was good and lots of eateries close to the hotel.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for travellers interested in shopping.

I selected this hotel based on reviews and mainly for its location, and I have not regretted. Stayed here for almost a week. The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff are very helpful and efficient. The breakfast is very good. The location is excellent. One can easily walk to all the best shopping sites in Bangkok. There is a lovely massage parlour outside, which is recommend after a day of shopping. The hotel is great value for money. I will definitely stay there again next time I visit Bangkok.

I have stayed in Evergreen in Dec 2012. The room which we have checked into is one floor above the swimming pool which is a bad allocation. Cos the guests whom are sun tanning and swimming could look into our room directly and clearly. Plus, we have requested for a twin room but they have given us a double room. The concierge promised to change the room for us the following day. The following day morning, we have pack up our luggage and approach the concierge. They told us that they will only have twin room after the guests check out in the noon. Then we left our luggage with them and went out for shopping. When we returned at night and approach the concierge again, they told us that we came back late and there wasn't any twin room available! What kind of reason is that? They are supposed to hold the room for us. After my friend had made a din, then they relent and check us into a twin room. However, the condition of the room was poor. There are missing furnitures and no bar counter. And the furnitures looked retired. The shower temperature was also rather cold and the shower head kept slipping down the railing which make it difficult to take a shower..Other than this unhappy incident, i do not have much other complaints. The hotel is near to the train station and massage parlors. The train goes to Siam area and Chatuchak and Asok. You could save on taxi fare.

Stayed a week in Evergreen Place Bangkok last summer with my wife and 2 sons (12 years & 7 years) in an Executive Suite (2 bedroom Apt). From the moment we arrived at the Reception we were given prompt and friendly service, quick check in and as requested got a high floor.

Our apartment had all the facilities one would have at home.A fully equipped kitchen with microwave, medium size fridge, toaster, kettle, oven, crockery, cutlery, and a small bar table with 2 high stools.Free sachets of tea, coffee and sugar daily.Dining table for 4 people.2 Bedrooms with comfy beds, one ensuite & one separate bathroom. The Amenities in the bathroom were different from the usual hotel ones. They did not provide individual bits of soap, shampoo, conditioner etc, but instead had separate liquid dispensers for each item which were only replenished upon request. Both bedrooms have views of Sky train and main road.Balcony near leaving room with amazing view of the city. Living area with good music system, T.V and DVD player.Free, fairly high speed wired Internet. The house keeping staff was very courteous, friendly and extremely eager to please. They met all our requests efficiently.

On the first night we decided to eat in the hotel (they only have one with a small bar) had only 2 people taking orders, hence the service, despite friendly & courteous was very slow.We eventually got our food almost 45 minutes to an hour later and my son did not get what he chose,so with apologies food was changed quite quickly and they comped his meal and threw in a carton of orange juice.Nice touch! Room service was prompt & courteous. On the whole, the meals were generous, reasonably priced and tasty.

The pool was a basic rectangular shaped pool but quite open on all sides so you had the sun all day long which is a rarity for other hotels in Bangkok. The massage parlour in the hotel offered the same price as on the streets and was just as good which is yet another rarity for Bangkok hotels.
A few small drawbacks that needed to be mentioned. There are only 2 lifts in the hotel so they usually take a while to get to you and you need to use your room card to go up in the lift but not down.Getting to breakfast on time in the later hours of the morning was always a rush because of overcrowded lifts but managed to get there just in time.Breakfast area was small,so struggled to get a good table and choices were limited, usually all the pork stuff finished quickly and the staff were a little slow to replenish them.

Immediately outside the hotel on the main road was an excellent massage parlour and a well stocked 7 eleven but unfortunately nothing else.

Ratchathewi BTS Sky train station is just a 4 minute walk away.If you want to go to ‘Siam Paragon’ Shopping Mall just take the ‘Sukhmvit’ line(light green colour line on map),south towards ‘On Nut’ and one stop later you are at ‘Siam’ Station which is connected directly to ‘Siam Paragon’shopping mall.If you want to continue to Sukhmvit road ,the 3 stations spanning the main attractions on this road are ‘Nana’,‘Asok’ and ‘Phrom Phong’ which come 3,4 and 5 stops respectively after’ Siam’ Station. If you need to get to MBK Shopping plaza by BTS (even though it is a 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel) take the same train to ‘Siam’ Station, get off, walk a few steps across to the next platform and take the ‘Silom’ line (dark green colour line on map),south towards ‘Wong Wan Yai’ & one stop later you are at ‘National Stadium’ Station which is directly connected to MBK.

Overall, this hotel is the best value for money especially if you are with family.
