I stayed for 3 nights as a family of four in two single beroom deluxe room (was upgraded in one of the rooms) in the begining of August 2012. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. The bathroom fittings also of high quality. The kitchen was fullly equipped with good quality and clean cutlery. The Wifi also works pretty nicely in the rooms. The hotel also has a washing machine room on the pool floor where one can wash and dry clothes at a very reasonable cost. Also, the hotel attracts mostly family and quality visitors.

The pool and the gym are of high quality and very useful to unwind after a long tiring day. The restaurant also serves very good quality thai food at not too expensive rates. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety (but i dont think they have a live egg station).

The location of this hotel is excellent with ten minutes walk to the major shopping attraction of MBK mall, Madame Tussads etc. and other attractions. I also endorse the other postives reviews given by people about this hotel on trip advisor.

Tell taxi driver to go to Asia Hotel (which is next to Evergreen Hotel) in case he does not know the address.

Tip No 1: Taxis and Tuktuks are notorious for charging exhorbitant fares (non meter) for short distances from outside malls and tourist atttractions. Walk about 100 or so meters away from the mall and stop one of the passing taxis to get reasonable fares.

Tip No 2: Also before sitting in any taxi ask them if they will use the meter and plitely smile and walk away if they say no. Most often the taxi drivers will agree to meter.

Tip No 3: Dont miss Chatuchak weekend market if you want to enjoy shopping for an incredible variety of stuff at reasonable prices.

The hotel was near centre. There was one big shopping centre by walking. If you like electronics and clothings, there are cheap items to buy. Breakfast was not we were use to, but it's okay. The room was nice and quit big.

The first thing you need to know is that most taxi drivers do not know where this hotel is so may be unwilling to take you even if you have a map from the hotel website. In that case tell them it's the soi before the Asia Hotel or simply ask them to take you to the Asia hotel. It's a two minute walk mostly undercover from the Asia to the Evergreen Place.

I think the Evergreen was originally meant as apartments rather than a hotel and most of the rooms are suites with full kitchen facilities. I'd certainly be happy to live there long term.

As it was I stayed four days and experiences excellent service with good English spoken by all staff except housekeeping. Despite the fact the foyer was being renovated the areas were clean and the workers did not intrude.

There is a well equipped gym on site, a well maintained pool and a laundrette. All facilites are built around the restaurant and you'll need to walk into the restaurant to get to them.

My only complaint is about the breakfast buffet. The food temperature was too low on all dishes.

Location perfect for the Siam square shopping. 5 mins walk to skytrain then one station or 15 minutes walk mostly off-road.

Cost is lower than any other Siam 3-4 star hotel.

This was my second stay in 6 months this time with my daughter. We arrived at 8.00am and our room was ready at 10am. Room was clean and tidy with large living area, good TV and excellent views of both the pool and city due to the corner location. No kitchen in the room like last time but why cook when it is much cheaper to step onto the street and sample the great street food Bangkok has to offer! As usual the service was always with a smile especially from the door men. The breakfast was fine and the pool was a godsend after the walking to and from the very close shopping malls. If you want excellent value accommodation with good service then try this place the money you save is well worth another shopping venture or tour and the Hotel has all you need to get by in Bangkok. Its not luxurious but it is clean, comfortable, and friendly.

Room Tip: Our corner room had a smallish bathroom and no kitchen but huge living area, the rooms opposite the...

Our Family of 5 stayed at Evergreen Place early September in the Executive Suite (with an extra bed which we had placed in the living room). The suite was more than adequate for our needs in terms of size and requirements. We booked with Evergreen Place direct via their website and all communication was prompt and clear. I was pleased that I was able to make my reservation 6 weeks in advance without full payment (for our 7 day stay) nor was I required to leave a deposit. They did however take my credit card details though were quite understanding when I didn't want to disclose my cvc number which was also requested on the credit card form.

Evergreen Place provides you with a swimming pool and laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) which come in handy when you are traveling with kids. The buffet breakfast is ok - nothing special to note. I was impressed however with the security of Evergreen Place. From my understanding, guests could only access rooms on their floor and not others due to the coding in the room pass. I am not sure if this is common in Thailand as this was the only hotel throughout my Asian adventure where I encountered this.

The location of Evergreen Place made our travels very convenient during our Bangkok stay. The BTS was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel (which we used to go to the Sunday market and Terminal 21 as it is on the same line), and a 10-15 minute walk over the bridge will get you to MBK and Siam Square. Walking will get you to places quicker in Bangkok as the traffic is horrendous in peak hour so Evergreen Place served us well in that regard.

Evergreen Place is accessed via an alley. In front is 7-Eleven and from the afternoon, food stores are set up which are always busy with the locals. We managed to have dinner there several times as we wanted to taste real Thai food.

Sam (bellboy/doorman) is an asset to Evergreen Place. All the others serving at the door were also exceptional.

Evergreen Place is suitable if traveling with kids. There wasn't a lot of places around the MBK area that could meet our accommodation needs (connecting rooms, balconies etc). We found Evergreen value for money and would come back here again.

Evergreen Place has a decent location as its just next to Ratchathewi BTS. Its located down a small alley between Asia Hotel and a Seven Eleven. Its about a 15 minute walk away from MBK and Siam discovery.

I stayed at a Junior Suite with 2 of my friends and we paid for an extra bed. Rooms were nice with what you would expect in a decent hotel. The hotel has free wi fi and the service is excellent. The breakfast provided was good as well. The bellboy at he hotel helped us to find a taxi that would take us to the airport at a reasonable price.

All in all if you are looking for a place to stay in Bangkok at a reasonable price this is it.

Room Tip: If there are 3 of you get a junior suite with extra bed

Good value for money given the spacious living room and cleanliness. Shower area a little dark; water pressure is good. I love the toiletries with lemongrass fragrance. Would be better if bathrooms attached to room. Excellent porter service, and smiley all the time. Breakfast isn't a fancy affair but can get by for a short stay.
The safebox was beeping the moment we stepped in. But the service guy fixed it in 15 mins. Good job!
Close proximity to MBK/Siam Sq, within walking distance approx. 5mins. Good for shopperholics cos you can unload your loots as and when you feel like it. For the adventurous, take a 15-20mins to Platinum Mall (opp direction from MBK).
Train station is nearby too, just 5mins away. A few stops away from Terminal 21 (the latest shopping mall).
Highly recommended for those who loves shopping in MBK area.

Room Tip: Rooms a little sunny in the afternoon.
