Furama Sathorn -
Stayed for 10 nights

Deluxe Room
good size shower and water pressure was great
supplied new towels daily & toiletries
In room snacks/drinks
Room service 6am - 11pm daily
Breakfast - was ok, there is a selection however at approx. 9am there is not much left.
Self- Laundry service available - 60 THB per wash/ 100THB for drying
Swimming Pool / Sauna- was nice and cool
Gym - OK - No treadmill

Chong Nonsi BTS - 3 minute walk ( this is only 3 stops to SIAM station - main stop)
7/11 - 3 minute walk
Dry Cleaning service- 3 minute walk
Three Restaurants alongside the street (Korea & Thai)

The hotel states 4 star, I believe it is 3 star.
The hotel is a little old and in need of a refurb.
There was also construction occuring right next door, started work at 8am each morning (Mon- Sat)

I did like the location, as it was close to Chong Nonsi BTS station.
However, everything is average.
I dont think it will be my first choice of a hotel in BKK though.

Room Tip: Request a room away from construction work. Ask for a pool facing room

If you are looking for a place with a good location, a place that gives you a large room which is well equipped, a place that is located in a good area close to the bts, a place that has good, helpful, friendly staff, then this is the hotel you want to stay at.
The rooms are very well furnished - this is like a 4 star hotel - great amenities - good breakfast.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
They also have a tour desk which arranges tours and car transport at competitive rates.

Nothing special, only pro room was clean and confortable, bathroom decent except for the shower that was too low and could get a decent shower without kneeling a little bit down, everytime i'd shower water would run down to the floor and flood everything. Poor breakfast and very unfriendly and unhelpful staff.

Room Tip: get a room on a top floor at least you'll get a nice view

The location is good because it is about 70-100m walk from the Chong Nonsi Station, which is itself about 2 to 3 stations from all the actions. Around the hotel, there are sufficient interesting restaurants and shops but nothing compared to those nearer the heart of Bangkok. WifiI connection is great. I don't have time to check out the pool. Frankly, this hotel doesn't quite feel like 4-star. More like an average 3-star. The staff is average Bangkok hotel friendliness. The hotel room size is a bit below average for me. The complimentary breakfast is simple but good enough. The huge downside for me is the noisy A/C. I called the hotel technicians to check and they told me all the rooms are the same, which left me with no choice but 3 very poor nights of sleep. I woke up after 5 hours of sleep each nite as the noise from the A/C is unbearably loud. There is construction going on next to the hotel, which looks like another 1.5 years to complete. But I was more bothered by the A/C noise than anything else and wouldn't return to this hotel at any price.

Stayed here for 3 nights after travelling from London to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi, so was very tired and in need of a good rest. This hotel is ranked as a four star, but feels more like a three star hotel. The rooms are a good size with a good TV with lots of international channels, a big bathroom with a separate shower and a bath, big and comfortable beds too. The wifi was not great though, and sometimes the hotel corridors were loud in the early morning and late night.
The location of the hotel is set back from the main road in Silom, but in a cluster of other hotels. It's close to the sky train which is great, but far away from Khao San road and the main attractions of Bangkok. I advise getting the sky train to national stadium and then a taxi or tuktuk from there.
When checking out the receptionist rings the cleaner to check your room before you can leave, this is quite normal in Asia I think, but as we were unfamiliar with this before we found it quite rude.
Outside the hotel are loads of taxi drivers who constantly bother you when you enter and leave the hotel.

First time in Bangkok, the hotel is nice and very good value for money. The room was big, unfortunately i got the one next to the swimming pool entrance and it wasn't the best as I couldn't open the curtains or window as people could see inside my room. The service was good and staff was very helpful in giving me direction on how to reach visiting places, temples, markets. The area is full of little restaurants that are cheap and super tasty with real Thai food. Overall a good experience

We love the complimentary breakfast every morning. Lots of choices, delicious eggs to order, pastries, bacons, japanese rice was a treat! They gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room. I enjoyed the swimming pool; it is small but a nice place to relax. About 5-10min walk to Skytrain. Not many massage options around. Go to the morning market near the hotel. However, the hotel needs some refurbishment in order to stay competitive with other newer hotels.
