Stayed here for 3 nights after travelling from London to Bangkok via Abu Dhabi, so was very tired and in need of a good rest. This hotel is ranked as a four star, but feels more like a three star hotel. The rooms are a good size with a good TV with lots of international channels, a big bathroom with a separate shower and a bath, big and comfortable beds too. The wifi was not great though, and sometimes the hotel corridors were loud in the early morning and late night.
The location of the hotel is set back from the main road in Silom, but in a cluster of other hotels. It's close to the sky train which is great, but far away from Khao San road and the main attractions of Bangkok. I advise getting the sky train to national stadium and then a taxi or tuktuk from there.
When checking out the receptionist rings the cleaner to check your room before you can leave, this is quite normal in Asia I think, but as we were unfamiliar with this before we found it quite rude.
Outside the hotel are loads of taxi drivers who constantly bother you when you enter and leave the hotel.More
