Cannot recommend this cooking school highly enough - the staff were wonderful and so understanding of my health issues which make simple knife skills very difficult. They assigned me a personal assistant so that I could fully participate. The recipes were wonderful and we got to eat everything we cooked. The transportation to and from our hotel were included as was a very enjoyable and informative trip to the market.

We decided to try the course at Baipai as it was so very well reviewed by other contributors, and it completely lived up to expectations and more! We were collected from our hotel, and spent about 4 hours at Baipai, touring the gardens learning about growing herbs and spices before starting cooking. The staff are terrific, Natalie is a great teacher and Chef Noi is a natural presenter and should have her own cookery show on TV! We learnt a lot from the demonstrations and cooked 4 courses of wonderful food - Classes are about 12 people or so, and everyone has their own work station. We cannot praise it highly enough, and will do another course next time we're in Bangkok.

I highly recommend this place if you want to experience some authentic Thai cooking traditions in a beautiful Thai establishment. Even better, you even get to eat the fruits of you labour afterwards. Great and freindly staff!

the cooking school provides free round trip transfer to and from the school 2000 baht per person. great establishment i heard its newly build not too long ago. the lower level have 2 separate part for 2 classes to go on the same time. the max number of ppl for each class is 8. we all seat at a U shape table like a chemistry class. we all got a set of well prepared menu cards then after the chief's demonstration we test what it should test like. we than move on to our own turn. after the food is prepared we moved on to the dining table to enjoy our food after each course. this is a great day of fun my bf said this is his first time wearing an apron but this is the high light of our whole bangkok trip! the best thing is they will take photos of u during the cooking class and at the end not only they printed of a print each for the student on a fridge magnet as a gift for u. they also follow up with an email with all the pictures from the class. GREAT!!!!

Ok, it's a fair piece from city center, but that gives the tranquil setting a more relaxed atmosphere. Well designed facilities with nice style created a wonderful atmosphere. We picked set "D" as the one we'd most likely cook at home. From beginning to end, our cook and her sous chef/describer offered clear explanations as they demonstrated techniques. Watch, do; watch, do; watch, do, eat, and so on. Nice pace between recipes also afforded opportunities to chat with fellow chef wannabes. Over the course of four hours, we cooked, learned, and dined. Yes it was a little warm, but they kept our water glasses topped up at all times, and in the end we concluded it was an excellent, relaxing and fulfilling (experience and stomach-wise) way to spend an afternoon in Bangkok. One couple with us returned for their second course -- that says bundles. If only we had more time....
