What could have been a very nice relaxing hotel is ruined by bad management and rude staff. Stayed for a week then eventually had to move to different hotel because of constant overcharging and managers who didn't really know what was going on.

We wanted somewhere quiet to stay whilst we were waiting for our Indian visas to be processed and the hotel was perfect for that. However when we arrived we were encouraged to take the superior room rather than the standard room we booked, the man at reception said it was a better room and only 600b per night. Two nights into our stay we are told that there has been a mistake and only Thai people get the special 600b room and we would have to pay 720. Rather than paying more (we are on a budget) we moved to a cheaper room. We refused to pay for the mistake but were told we had to as 'Thai people don't have money' and if we didnt they would charge the staff members. I felt annoyed that I was being made to feel guilty about something that was not our fault, it was only when I said we would leave that they finally relented and gave us first two nights for 600. Very badly run business.

We stayed here in building 2 for the 2 nights before flying home after 5 weeks away. It was cheap and a complete surprise that the photos on hostel.com did not do it justice. A free shuttle or taxi will take you to any point in central Bangkok. A taxi back averaged at £2.50 with 5 of us and the lovely rooftop pool overlooking the Bangkok skyline was a welcome relief from the busy centre and the heat. The rooms were huge, clean and the bathroom and shower and bath were great. We did the weekend market on the 2 days we were there, and bought an extra bag for all the great stuff we bought. The reception staff spoke excellent English and did all they could to help. Shop and cheap Thai resteraunt

Given the fact that i received a discounted room rate due to my volunteering, it was great value for money. However i would return even if i was'nt receiving a discounted rate. The staff are friendly and helpful and the swimming pool on the roof is a real treat, with uninterrupted views for many kilometers.

Bad service and cockroaches everywhere! We asked to move but they said the whole hotel was busy...we were definitely the only guests. Their website is misleading and says it's pretty much central when actually it took an hour and a half to get to koh San road. We moved the next day. Don't waste your time.

Quite far from sight seeing areas and shopping.
Very limited shuttle service & taxi drivers had problems finding the hostel.

We stayed here at the beginning of our 9 month trip, the staff's English isn't amazing (not a problem) but they were the most helpful staff we have come across yet - very friendly and always there to offer advice on how to get to places etc.

The hotel is a little way out of Bangkok but they offer free lifts and mini tours depending on what room you stay in (not for dorms I think)

They also have a beautiful rooftop pool, which is lovely to swim in early evening with views over the Bangkok skyline.

The rooms are very clean, spacious and they were very reasonable - also the food is delicious, esp the coffee! They have facilities for washing your clothes, a kitchen area and free wifi and use of computers.

They have several huge balconies full of flowers and plants that are lit up at night which are nice and quiet.

All-in-all we would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying there again very soon.
