“Great place to stay”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

my daughter and i came to BBK for our annual bonding trip during the Christmas season. we booked centrepoint cos its very near to the BTS. We took the MRT from airport and transfer to BTS arriving just a short walk to the hotel. The rooms was certainly spacious, bed was great except the houskeeper forgotten to lock down the wheels (my bed was moving when i got out of it in the morning) i like the timber shutter window which allows me to control the amount of daylight into the room. The shower heater in our room wasn't working too well, we can't control the temp; otherwise its a nice bathroom. Breakfast was just wonderful. Never regret staying here. Security to the room via the lift is very secure with the card system. Hence its very safe for single traveller especially ladies visiting BKK.

This is a really nice hotel.

The check in was quite fast and the free parking garages are very roomy.

The room was a great size and very nicely decorated.

We loved the shutters over the doors and windows as they not only look great but are an added advantage for families with younger children as we felt it was less worry for us with our inquisitive two year old being able to open the balcony doors or room windows. The balcony doors also lock up the top out of reach of little children.

We have two children and they were very happy with their room and bathroom and our room was a little larger with an ensuite. There is a lounge area and small kitchen. Our room had a washing machine/dryer in the kitchen but we noticed a coin operated laundry in the parking area for those who need them.

I was pleased to see a kettle in the kitchen but disappointed that there were no tea and coffee supplied. It wasn't until later that I realised there is complimentary tea and coffee until 6pm at the wet/gym/play area and in the foyer.

The air conditioners in the room worked better than ours at home and were not noisy.

The bathroom amenities were very pleasant and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The shower heads were excellent with great water pressure. The beds were very comfortable with really nice pillows.

The only thing that would have been better would be to have some tissues supplied in the bathrooms.

The facilities were beyond expectation for us. The pool area was lovely. The main pool is quite deep (150cm) but there is a smaller jacuzzi area (the spa was not working during our stay) and a children's pool. There are very helpful staff available there all the time to give you towels, robes, turn on the larger indoor jacuzzi (in each locker room) and there is a sauna in the locker rooms also.

The gym is a great size and there is a wonderful children's area with a lot of toys indoors and some play equipment outdoors.

The restaurant was good. Very friendly staff and the prices reasonable. We were happy with the meals we had there. On the first night we dined in and second night we had room service. One of us ordered a burger and the meat inside was unpleasant. The staff were very understanding offering us another food option and a refund. We put this down to a one off incident as every other meal we had there was very nice.

Internet was fast..and free!

We would love to stay here again. It was a very comfortable stay and the facilities are fantastic.

Room Tip: At the the moment there is some building next door so it is best to ask for an upper floor as it can...

We (2 adults and 1,5 year old child) stayed there for 3 days and is was great.
Room was spacious with kitchnette, big bath (son loved it).
We loved a balcony with nice view - my husband and me had a nice time there late in the night, while our son was sleeping in his baby bed, which was brought in our room in half hour after request by very helpful staff. Baby cot was big and solid which was not the case in all hotels that we have been in Thailand.
Breakfast was good with a lot of choices.
We would stay there again.

Dear Guest,

We do thank you for choosing Centre Point Hospitality to serve you on your recent trip to Bangkok. We appreciate you taking time to share your experience with us.

We are happy and energised by your comments. And it is really good to know that you had a good time with our room and service.

A balcony in the room can be a great place to chill out at night. Stunning bangkok city view is worth having a look at. And for the family with a baby, we could provide a baby cot without any charges. I believe this would be very convenient for guests.

We do hope to serve you and your family again in the future.

Have a nice day!

I was only here for 3 days - felt that this hotel is better suited to longer term stays or for buisiness.
Great location and room was really nice, though i feel it would have been nice to have had complimentry coffee/tea ( i certainly would have appreciated this on my arrival which was 11pm direct from airport after a long flight). Staff were helpful

We booked rooms in Centre Point Silom for New Year in order to celebrate New Year together with our friends. They arrived one day earlier than us and were transferred to Centre Poit Wireless because of some water pipe accident in Silom. They asked to transfer us too because we wanted to be in the same hotel. At first we were a little bit dissapointed by the fact but when we reached the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. We got an upgrade from the double room to 1 BR apartement. The view from the window wasn't the best possible because we saw the roof of another building (9th floor) but if you ask the higher room the views are great, Our friends alsoi got a very nice upgrade - they booked 2 BR apartement but as they didn't have any free in Wireless they got a 4 BR apartement on the top floor which was really huge, and had excellent views to the city. We had our New Year party at their apartement enjoying the fireworks from the big balcony. We ordered food from the room service and it was little bit expensive of course but tasty. The breakfast was also good but it seemed that the staff wasn't really used to serve so many people as there was in the hotel during the holiday time. There were huge queues, people waiting to be seated, then you have to wait for the coffee, plates etc. The pool was good but the only downside was the noise coming from the constuction site next to the hotel. The gym was good and what amazed me that they had very good sauna! We nordic people can't be without sauna even if it is 36 degrees hot outside :) To complete the review: I would stay again and recommend to others. If you have longer stay, or you have children the apartement is very comfortable. You have everything you need to cook if you would like to and even the washing machine. The 7/11 is right at the corner to by snacks and etc. The BTS station is also near so it is good to move around when the traffic gets crazy.

Room Tip: Higher floors, better view :)

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for taking your time to share your story on Tripadvisor. And we do thank you for your patient and understanding. Only sometime when we have an emergency, we need to transfer guest to other Centre Point. We realize that this situation is not pleasant. So we always upgrade to the bigger room and better location.

We are happy that Centre Point Wireless Road can serve you well. And wish you will select one of Centre Point Hotel to be your destination next time.

We stayed at many Centre Point in bangkok, and this one and the Grand Centre Point Ratchadumri that locates very close to BTS. I also find this center point has pretty good facilities large gym, poor with outdoor beds for relaxing. Good standard breakfast, free wifi and large reception area, also the room is really nice, so nothing is faulty at all for this place.
Just remember that wireless rd can be really busy at day time, and this is the business street, so if you want a more relaxing atmostphere, the Grand Centre Point on Ratchadumri is maybe a better choice.

Room Tip: We love the view toward Central world direction where you can see other buildings.
