Started off my 4 month backpacking trip in this hotel. What can I say? Perfect from the beginning. Pool is amazing to cool off in with lovely views of the city. The food is great you can order to your sunbeds. Amazing rooms, big beds, lovely baths and hot showers. Cleaned daily. Balcony view of the street below and in 10 minutes of koh San road. Welcome drinks upon arrival and staff are so friendly and helpful.

Great hotel on a ten minute walk from Khaosan Road. The hotel is new and nice and cool. The room is very clean and the breakfast great. Very friendly staff. We got in at 9.00 a.m. and while check inn is at 14.00, we got in our room at 9.30. The bed was very big and comfortable.

Not in the centre of Bangkok, but since we took a taxi every time we went somewhere this wasn't a problem. If you are looking for a clean, modern hotel choose Casa Nithra.

I stayed here with friends at the end of our trip - its a great priced hotel very close to Kho San rd but with out the hustle and bustle of hotels down that way - the rooms were lovely - spacious and clean - bathroom was a tad small but really - how much time do you spend in the bathroom!! The restaurant downstairs did a great buffet breakfast - this was extra - 250baht but was easy and convenient. The roof top pool wasnt huge - but a great place to lounge around - some of the loungers sat in the water which was pretty cool and there was always someone around to serve drinks from the bar! The doorman was very good at getting you a taxi if you wanted to go further afield

Overall, we are quite happy with the hotel. The decor of the hotel and rooms are nice, comfortable room. Wifi is fast. The rooftop pool is decent and not too crowded. We were greeted with friendly front desk staff when we checked in, and were offered with cool towels and tea. When we requested for late checkout, the hotel extended our room till 2pm.

Location wise, it's not the best. It is approximately 15 minutes walk to Khao San road. However, if you are traveling to other parts of bkk, you will need to take a cab to the nearest BTS and continue from there (vice versa).
Generally, the staffs are good except for an unpleasant experience with this hotel staff.
Upon check in, he assisted with our luggage and asked if we planned to go to any attractions. We said Amphawa (which I have already googled on the direction to the place). He said he could assist on the service and recommended to take a minivan from a nearby agency.
After we put down our stuff in our room, we went down and asked him for the direction to Silom where I have booked a massage parlour. Immediately, he claimed that it's too far and recommended us to the massage service provided by the hotel, which is understandable as it's part of the hotel service. We rejected. In the end, the journey from the hotel to Silom was only 20 minutes which he has claimed far.
He took us across the street to this small tour agency (instead of the hotel's agency which is located just outside the lobby) for the Amphawa day trip. The agency quoted us 810 baht per person (maeklong railway market + Amphawa floating market + firefly tour at Amphawa). We did not purchase as it was much more expensive than what I have googled (160 baht per person if we go on our own: victory monument BTS - maeklong railway market - Amphawa floating market - victory monument BTS).
Next day, we took the free tuktuk service (chauffeured by the same guy). He asked if we bought the package from the agency, we said no and told him we would take a transport from victory monument. Immediately he shook his head and disapproved our decision. We had to brush him off saying we were not interested in the firefly tour which cannot be excluded from the package.
On our last day, we were left with 300baht to take cab to the airport as we recalled the cab fare from the airport on day 1 was only 240baht via meter. The same hotel staff told us it would cost us 400-500baht to the airport, we told him we were only left with 300baht and wanted the cab to run by meter. I don't know if he don't understand us or what, he continued to communicate with the driver in Thai. Finally, after a few rounds of negotiating, we agreed on 300baht which was frustrating because we could have flag for the next cab which could have run via meter and could cost us lesser.

Overall, we find the hotel quite nice. But, just beware of the recommendations.

We stayed at Casa Nithra for 4 nights when first arriving in Bangkok. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough! Before writing this we had a conversation trying to find faults to report but couldn't find any! The rooms are so comfortable and luxurious and although we could hear some sound travel from the corridors occassionally the rooms felt very private and soundproof from room to room.

We only had breakfast here on one day and found it to be really nice but we like to try lots of different places out so didn't want to limit ourselves to eating at hotel everyday.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the onsite travel agent was great in helping us to go through all of our travel options to the south and subsequently booking for us once we had decided how we wanted to travel.

For a comfortable and convenient stay we highly recommend casa nithra!

Casa Nithra is awesome! A little more expensive than a Koh San Road hostel but worth it. Great rooms, loads of space, great prices (compared to British at least!), great facilities. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast which is probably more expensive than you could pay (250 baht) but for ease it's fine. The pool is lovely, great for a dip after a hot day site seeing! Can get busy so if you want it to yourself go in the morning (opens at 9) before you go out. The hotel staff we very accommodating, they let us check in early and upgraded us for free. The room has everything you need and there is a travel booking office on site, can't confirm how good the prices are as we had booked everything we needed already.
The only downside, watch out for 'helpful' concierge. My bag was taken off me when I said I needed no help and practically shoved into a taxi which tried to charge us 500baht for any journey. Completely ridiculous because, other than a ride to the airport, most metered taxis in the city cost less than 100. This happened to us on two occasion. I suspect the concierge was taking a cut of the taxi prices he put to his friends. Luckily we could see we were being ripped off, but for people who have just arrived in Bangkok be aware. It is easy to google search how much a taxi between areas should cost, use this as a guide.

ear guest,

I am very glad to hear that you enjoyed your accommodations and I am delighted to hear your feedback about our staff.

I will be sure to share your comments with my team, especially with front office team.

For the others tourists please contact Casa Nithra Bangkok for airport transfer, the hotel provided taxi transfer or hotel taxi service from Casa Nithra Bangkok to Suwannaphum airport or Don-muang airport just 500 THB per trip that’s all inclusive express way, polite driver, lost and found, correct destination airport grantee. In case some guest would like cheaper taxi fare and call from the main road may be found unpolite with cheating driver. In fact we suggested to booking hotel airport transfer with good service and best conditions, We do not grantee you will find the cheating taxi driver or not , they’ll inform you 350 -400 per trip to the hotel or airport but no one knew that’s driver is good person?

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Casa Nithra, Bangkok again in the future.

Kindly regards,

Management Team
