We reached this hotel in March 2013 after a faily long overnight flight (and a 1.5 hr process getting the visa). The hotel is at walking distance from the chidlom BTS station and the have a complimentary tuk-tuk service to pick you up. The front desk staff is genuine and while you wait for the checkin formalities, there is a self-service for iced-tea and some bites. Thats really refreshing after a long flight. Also the free wi-fi is damn helpful to book trips, check mails and stay connected

We had booked a superior double room - rooms were modern, comfortable and kitchenette included a microwave, washer and dryer. the bathroom is lavish with a bathtub and a touch-screen operated toilet (talk of snoot value). the toiletries were high grade and the cleanliness was spot-on The BTS will take you to most of the talked about malls including the Central (at chid lom itself) and the Paragon mall, HBK mall etc

Buffet spread was excellent with lots of variety including local and international selections. They will also take orders for eggs, pancakes and waffles. There are also a number of eateries on the way from Chid Lom BTS to the hotel which stay open till midnight and have italian, indian and thai options. There is a bank right opposite if u have FOREX to be handled. Also a park within walking distance (5 mins) if u want to run/jog. The hotel itself has a very well equipped gym. They have an indoor salt-water pool and a pretty good sauna facility.

Definitely value for your money

Room Tip: Rooms in 10 floor and above have a great view from window. Take street facing room

We have used Centrepoint hotels on many occasions during visits to Bangkok and have found that they provide good value for money. We stayed at the Langsuan property before renovation and again a couple of times in march and April. The hotel is very well located for visitors and free tuk tuk service is even provided to Chit Lom station. The apartment style rooms are fairly spacious and quite adequate. Breakfasts are O.K. but I had problems getting fresh hot tea. Coffee is now available from an espresso machine but tea was offered, lukewarm, in a flask. I did eventually succeed in getting fresh pots of tea from the kitchen but every morning had to go through the same routine - and why can't the very small pots be filled to the top - it's only water!
We had extended our second stay, for one night, to a second night and this appeared to cause some confusion but was satisfactorily resolved.
Overall, this hotel offers good value in a very good location.

I love this hotel so much!!
The room is cleanly, tidy, and the room size was big enough, room was equipped with washing machine and small kitchen. Overall was very good, just a bit long with BTS station but hotel provided tak tak in limited time.

I travel for business, with long days out in the city. This was my first time to Bangkok and how lucky I was to have selected this hotel.

I arrived at the hotel close to midnight after many hours of flying. I was delighted to enter #1507 at the back left corner of the building. This "corner" is the best as it offers sweeping views with no nearby buildings.

I selected a hot rate on the smallest unit offered. The accommodation is a mini apartment, with modern furnishings. Walk in the door, kick off shoes in the corner and standing in the "kitchen" with access to the lavish bathroom. Walk through a doorway (without a door) and you are in the bedroom which has a nice little love seat and coffee table, a long built-in desk along the wall with a flat screen tv and plenty of room to work and spread out papers. The modern mesh chair was the best as I usually work for 4-5 hours at night/ early morning. I don't recall what time breakfast started, but it was what I looked forward to every morning. The buffet had ALL the breakfast items any western or asian traveller could want, as well as samples of lunch or dinner type entrees which changed everyday. An espresso maker delivered the tastiest coffee of my trip. Unbelievable!

The hotel offers a free tuk tuk to and from the sky train stop despite just being a five minute walk. I only used this a few times in the afternoon for a ride to the metro station, and upon departure with my luggage. The location of the hotel offers access to two different sky train stops, or is a nice walk through the park to the underground. I used the airport train to skytrain combo both arriving and departing - was fast and economical- believe me, the roadway traffic looked insanely slow at all hours of the day, so no taxi experience.

Between the skytrain stop and hotel, there is an organic market and hot food locale, where I shopped multiple times. Across the street, ask the on-duty guards for the location of the food market. They have all the foreign brands of goods. This "roadway" is also the route to the other skytrain stop. This market also had a pharmacist at the front who provided me with antibiotics for a suspected stomach bacteria. I asked for something to stop the "runs", but he said I need something to get to the problem. I felt better within hours and the cost was less than a few dollars - had to buy a five day course though told to only use for 2-3 days, which I confirmed with my MD back in the states upon return. The cause - I believe to be a smoothie at a reputable bakery cafe - the ice - I was very careful the whole trip, and that was the only link I could associate, so be careful with iced drinks - freezing does not kill bacteria! The hotel was all very clean, but again, I used bottled water to brush my teeth and rinse after soaping utensils.

I walked everywhere and really enjoyed my time, very much due to my great accommodation - to help revive my spirits and energy despite the hot and sweaty days out and about. Enjoy!

Room Tip: with back to the front door of hotel, ask for a room at the back left corner of the building. This...

We stayed some days in one of the suites, which were very complete, with a kitchen, a living, a bathroom and a bedroom. Everthing you need was available: washing machine, microwave etc.
There were a lot of cupboards and everything was very clean. The location was close to shops, skytrain and close to great restaurants. There was even a free tuctuc to take you to the skytrain. Breakfast was very good.
