Best dining experience I've had in a long time. What a treat Senti was. Cheers to the couple who own it.

“Another very nice Italian on Naratiwat road”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Always looking for new venue for fine dining I heard about Sensi from the Bangkok post and decided to go with my wife for Valentine.
The owner was very kind to accommodate the last minute booking and that was as promising as their menu that i have checked on Facebook
The restaurant decoration is really nice and they have done a fantastic job turning the furniture shop into a fine dining restaurant.
Service was good, the host is charming and make sure you have a great evening, the chef came few time at the table to enquire to get feed back. Very professional.
There was a nice balance of dishes of the menu with the highlight being the tartare of langoustine with smoke, the de-structured tiramisu and, the risotto (simple but just perfect).
For a first time this was a great first impression and will return very soon to try it a la carte and see if this place is holding on its promise of fine dining.

“Very average food but nice atmosphere ”
Reviewed February 10, 2014 via mobile

I been to Sensi with some friends as it have been recommend by on of my friend, when we arrived there we been well welcome by the manager. Restaurant have nice decor and the ambiance is great, we order the degustation menu for all the table, and we had complementary sparkling glass of wine to start, evening was stating well, then the first dish of the menu arrived, beef tartar with arugula salad underneath and quail egg, taste was very plain and tartar was dry, presentation was very sample, I would Better enjoy the tartar doing myself. Second course was burrata with balsamic caviar and olive oil, sample and good but where is the cooking in here? The next was porcini soup with pan seared foie gras, soup was very good but the size of the plate was too big compare to the quantity of soup inside. Ext we had risotto with Italian sausage, risotto was overcook, sausage was good and presentation again very poor, after the risotto was the snow fish with artichoke and zucchini, the snow fish taste nothing, no flavor only pan fried, zucchini was grilled with out seasoning and artichoke just from the can. For main course we had beef or lamb both serve with under seasoning spinach, to simple for fine dining. Dessert was the best dish of the night, tiramisu in chocolate sphere.
Over all experience a bit disappointing when you expect Italian fine dinning as all those dish you could do same at home! Presentation was too sample taste was poor, service and atmosphere was great. Will go back to order a la carte dishes would I hope be better experience.
