Went here in august on a shopping trip to bangkok with my wife.Stayed in a 2 bedroom premier apartment .It was excellent on 21st floor with good views. We had a 1200 sq.ft apartment.
Location 10 minutes walk to central world mall,5 minutes walk to chitlom skyrail.
Pool is on top floor and medium size and beautiful.
Gym is above average.Spa was excellent and very cheap,it was the highlight of the trip. The property had a small supermarket attached, room service was cheap and good,we never ate at the restaurant.Security was competent.
It is along with the marriot apartments the best located in Bangkok. However Intercontinental has the best location if you want to stay in a hotel.
P.S-Bed supper club disco at sukhumvit was excellent,a must visit.

I know negative reviews are not well-received on this forum, but I found the service at Fraser Place to be, in a word, horrible. I stayed here for an extended period and could not wait to leave. The management was completely unresponsive to a variety of problems. For a couple of days I had poisonous paint thinner fumes in my room from an adjacent apartment and there was never an offer to move me, not even so much as an apology. I requested urgently to speak to the General Manager but was continuously rebuffed. Not even the front desk manager contacted me to assist. This, in addition to cheaply outfitted rooms, unfriendly bellmen, and untrained cleaning staff. Bangkok has so many great places to stay with better value. If you're looking for serviced apartments on Lang Suan Road try the Mayfair Marriott (across the street from Fraser with extraordinary service), Centrepoint Lang Suan (older building adjacent to Fraser; fight for a discounted rate), or Natural Ville run by Accor. These establishments offer the same location, but much better value.

A two night stay in a studio at this service apartment was decided largely on location. On this point the Fraser Place did not disappoint being a few minutes walk from Chit Lom sky train station and the shopping (and eating) heart of Bangkok.
Service impressed, we arrived early (9-30am) on a Saturday morning and within minutes a different studio than we had been assigned was found and ready immediatly and given we were leaving at 6-30am two days later a request to switch breakfast to the Saturday also accomodated.
The studio was well equipped - a couple of gripes would slightly odd shaped room and very odd cushion coffee table thingy - a real coffee table please!! Overall though well equipped and practical.
The spa is excellent and a massage is well worth the money, however the gym is rather so-so.
And nothing to do with this hotel but if youre in Bangkok on a Sunday go to Four Seasons for brunch - to die for.

We booked into a 3 bedroom apartment (2401). It was beautiful. There were 3 fairly large rooms with 3 bath rooms. AND a flat screen TV in each room. Everyone was amazed at it's size when we entered the room. It also had a super large kitchen. The view on the 24th floor was also fantastic with its long balcony, the room was pure luxury. As with most up-market thai hotels, their reception service was good-informative and could communicate well in English. One of the best things about the hotel was its FREE tut-tut service to several nearby locations e.g. train station and Central shopping mall-where you could buy all your groceries. AND their children's playzone. I have a 14mth old that loved playing in the play room. The pictures on the website are exactly what you would find in the room, so not to worry, just work out which room you're looking at online and you'll most probably get what you want. The only downside was our floor in the room was a little bit dirty. If you walked barefoot for 30mins or wiped the floor with a tissue, u'll find that its BLACK. the floor looks very clean, but some reason its not that clean. The other good thing abt this place is the number of top rate restaurants on the same street. Choices were endless.

have a great stay!!!

In November of this year, we spent 3 nights at the Fraser Place, followed by one night at the end of our trip. We booked it based on location, near friends who are living in Bangkok, plus the reviews here on TripAdvisor. When we arrived at about 1 am after a looong flight, we were so pleasantly surprised! I'm generally not much of a high rise hotel person, but this place delighted me. You can see in our photo that the hotel had decorated the bed with rose petals in a heart shape. Everything was spic and span, and they had provided us with a 'welcome hamper' of fruit and cookies. We had a great night sleep in the comfortable king sized bed. Our room had a small kitchenette, which we didn't use much, but were able to make tea in the morning.

As our 3 night stay continued, we were more and more pleased. The pool, located on the 32nd floor, was not too crowded, and very pleasant. The breakfast was also top notch, and we're a couple of pretty tough customers in this regard. I've attached a photo, but it doesn't do justice to the scope of the buffet. The entire staff was delightful, and the location was very convenient. It's on a quiet street by Bangkok standards, not far to the Sky Train. We took the Sky Train to the riverboat, saw the sights that way, and found it very convenient. The hotel is also located close to the shopping malls, if that is of interest.

On our return to Bangkok, there was a problem with our reservation, which was booked through a third party website. Since the Fraser had room, we resolved this problem fairly rapidly. They sent us up to a room, but then ended up moving us about 20 minutes later. The new room smelled a bit of smoke, but it cleared our quickly and we didn't notice it when we returned later. This might be a problem for the very sensitive, though. This situation was the only hiccup, and I think it was handled well enough. We will certainly stay at the Fraser Place when we return to Bangkok.
