this is a very basic hotel, nothing special but the price is good for the location, across the street from mbk, but not noisy at all.
the rooms are simple and clean, there is a laundry service.
rooms are available in 3 diferent categories of prices, I had the cheapest one for 500 baht on the ground level and I will come back again.

We dicided to stay at the white lodge for 3 nights. The location is perfect - next to MBK mall you can easily go to places all over Bangkok by public transport. There are busses going to the King's Palace every few minutes for 7 Baht.
We had a really nice room on the 3rd floor with 3 windows, 2 of them going to a courtyard so it was quiet too. The AC was working properly but a bit noisy.
A good accomodation for 500 Baht per night!
They gave us a room without wifi and TV but bigger bed on the first night. We complained and they switched us to a smaller room but with wifi and TV with a cheaper price. There's 3 different room rates according to my friend but they didn't told us about it when we first called. On the other side, people there are nice. Won't mind staying there again.
I stayed here a solid week and loved it. The New air conditioner helped to make my stay in sweltering Bangkok a cool experience. It is right near MBK and the Bangkok Cultural Center and the Sky Train. You will be amazed at how close everything is that you want to do. I used to stay in Suhkumvit area but now forget that my new favorite place is here and I will not stay anywhere else in Bangkok. I loved the staff. I arrived after a 20 hour flight and when i had a disagreement with a taxi driver over the price the kind receptionist just paid the driver 100 baht and was happy to welcome me home. That was elegant. My favorite room was over the Thai massage studio down the lane to the right of the main building. Check it out. I paid 700 B per night with free wifi. It was well worth it. I'll be back!

As with others, paid 500 baht per night here which is a lot better than the other places on the road (all above 1,000 baht) and especially better than the big chain hotels which are around 2,500 baht per night. I think I spent 7 days here out of the 35 days in Thailand, so I really must say that it's a good deal. The beds in the main house really suck, but they have something like 4 different buildings that they rent from and some are better than others. They offer 3 person lodging for 700 baht a night and have some other 600 baht a night rooms in another building. So if you get here and don't like something, ask them about their other rooms (since they wont tell you about them).
