This is basically on the itinerary of the Bangkok first-time visitor. Bangkok is always fun and exciting.

Quite incredibly, this was my 1st visit here (in 12 years of visiting Bkk). I just didn't know it existed! I asked my tuktuk driver to 'take me to a big temple' & this is where I ended up. It is beautiful & impressive with a 360 view from the top. The spiral walk to the top was worth the leg ache & major water loss on a very hot, humid & thundery day. Bottled cold water is thankfully available at the top (as is a cool breeze on one side). Not for physically impaired visitors I would suggest. This was one of the key highlights of my visit.

This is a unique experience. Walking up the mount is really interesting and the view from the top is amazing. Quite a spiritual place.

This is a Wat worth going off the beaten path for. There is a bit of a hike up, but the view is great, and the temple area is worth the trip. Don't be shy about ringing all the bells for good luck!
