Be sure to include both the venom extracting and live snake handling demonstrations. Both are informative and presented with humour. The snake handling was fascinating to watch and at the end you can handle a snake yourself!

Those huge cobras that you only see in pictures can be seen at this venue and they are alive! This is a very interesting place, especially for children who will be fascinated with the milking or extraction of venom demonstration. The snake handlers are professionals and will give a highly educational talk, demonstrating with several snakes from all over the world. You will be shown skeletons, skins and all kinds of stuff. This is a visit that is well worth your time and money. If you do not get a front row seat for the show, there will be another one shortly. You are allowed to take photos, which mean you will have recorded your visit for all to see.
By the way, the toilets are located on the ground floor of the Institute building and I know you are going to be surprised! Do not worry they are very clean. This Snake Farm is dedicated to extracting venom for the creation of anti-venom serum.

Had a great morning looking at all the different snakes and finding out about the work that goes on here. Well worth a visit.

I thought my husband was crazy when he suggested the Snake Farm, but it was perfect for two boys who are done with shopping, having suit fittings, and seeing wats and shrines. The "museum" inside the building is small and very manageable, and the snake show is informative. Be sure to get a seat early and down low.

I made the mistake of coming earlier in the day. The rest of the exhibit is relatively interesting especially the stuff indoors. But the main attraction is the show which I missed. Don't make the same mistake!
