“A Day well spent!!”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We are from India and planned the Thailand trip in June 2013. My wife was very insistent that we visit the Safari world mainly the water park and boy the shows in the water world were fabulous!!
The entry fees for adult is Thai Baht 1200 (includes buffet lunch). But we went through a tour operator who got the tickets for the group for Baht 850 per person (including lunch). So I would suggest travelers to check with their hotel tour operators if they are offering discounts.
The park is divided into two parts: The water park and The safari ride
At the entrance, map of the entire park is available along with show timings. Few popular water shows happen only once a day and so you need to plan your “things to do” list well.
There are several shows like Dolphin show, Sea Lion, Orangutan, tiger feeding, cowboy stunt show etc. The best among them is the Dolphin show. Visitors start occupying seats an hour before the show itself. After the show you can take pics with Dolphin (for a fee of course!). My wife was really thrilled at taking pics with the Dolphin. Sea Lion show is another interesting show. Each of these shows last half hour.
Considering the large number of Indians visiting the Safari, the lunch buffet has a dedicated vegetarian section (with Jain food). The vegetarian food might not be as you get back in India but its still fine.
The safari houses a large collection of caged animals. But there is open safari as well which you can do through your private car. Again you get to see a wide variety of animals from Lion/ Tigers to wild bear to Rhino, Giraffe and deers!!
All n all worth spending an entire day!!

“Many goods shows and some great, plenty of animals, family activity”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

This is not so much a Zoo as a stage for different good shows containing many animals (including human). There is a Safari accessible by car or bus.

We spent more than half a day in the park. Started with sightseeing, sit on the right side since most platforms for tigers, lions and bears are on that side.

It is very difficult for a none-Thai speaker to find the times for the different shows. I attach a photo of the show times July 6th -13 which was a Saturday.

We were 8 people, from 11 to +50 years old. We particularly enjoyed the Sea Lion Show and the Dolphin Show. The Orangutang show was really good as well, the bird show and elephant show were good. A common theme for the shows are humor and respect for the animals. To feed the Giraffes is to miss. Look out for their tongues, they are long....

“Good shows but bad food options”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

We went with Tour with Tong and loved the experience and the shows. I guess you can make a better deal with a group tour , we took the private tour for our baby. Food options suck.
We gave the river safari a miss because of other reviews here. Overall a nice one day tour.

Took a tour to Safari world with Sun Liesure Tours. Really liked the place. Kids, aged 7, 6 and 4 loved all the animal shows and the pic with the tiger cub.
