“DISCUSTING. CRUELTY & ABUSE IS NOT ENTERTAINING”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

Please dont visit this horrible cruel prison for animals as you will be supporting herrendous torture. It is discusting how animals are treated here, the shows are shocking. Orangutan boxing are you serious- what kind of sick humans would enjoy this cruelty? Human boxers choose to participate at the sport but these poor Orangutans are forced to do these unnatural, sick shows. and the Elephant show was equally disturbing. I agree with punishing humans for their crimes, but not punishing animals for no crime at all. I feel so sad for all the beautiful animals in safari worlds care. When will they learn to respect and be compassionate to these poor, innocent animals.

“A bit of Africa in Bangkok”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

This is an all day excursion from about 8.30 pick up and a 4.30pm return to your hotel (costs 1000 baht). It includes a nice buffet lunch. There are about 5 shows that you can see which run every 40 minutes for about 15 mins. It starts with an Orangatang Show which is a very humerous boxing match. Then there is a seal show, a cowboy stunt show, dolphin show and a james Bond type spy war. These are all very professionally done and very entertaining. There isnt much time to walk around the Marine park but try get to where you can feed the giraffes. I wouldnt do the Jungle River Cruise again (its ok but costs 300baht).

Then there is a short trip around the Safari park where you can see lions, tigers, Cape buffalo, Wildebeest, Rhino, buck, Giraffes.

A nice excursion for anyone who hasnt seen wild animals before.

“Superb experience A must go!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

This place is absolutley amazing. Its clean, animals are well kept and the package is awesome. Although the shows are only once a day. The open zoo is very nice, great view from your car. The shows begin with the Orangutan boxing show, its a great show - comical and amazing how well trained they are. Then is the Sea Lion show. After this you get to watch the Elephant show/ The western cowboy show. Now we opted for the cowboy show as we have loads of elephants in India. But, the show was a disaster - do not sit in the front row you are bound to get drenched by the end! and the Thai make English sound like Chinese..!!!!(no offense) After lunch - they serve Indian and International Buffet (good food) there is Dolphin show - this is the highlight amazing show and a must go. At safari world you can take a picture with a tiger cub and feed him milk for 400 baht/-, similarly with a dolphin/orangutan/Macau we opted for the Tiger cub, and it was worth it!

“Wonderful”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

It is a 45 min drive from BKK city center on an average traffic ( BKK city is always with heavy traffic) . Safari World is sort of a zoo but most animals are in open areas. There are series of animal shows of elephants , seals , dolphins , orang utangs ets. You need to follow the show times and never miss them as you will really enjoy the show. Apart from animal shows there are two other shows named something like "Cowboy show ' and " Action show" ( James Bond type action) . Both are very enjoyable and never to miss. However in my opinion they should be in " Dream world" and not in Safari world as live actions performed by stunt artists and story lines have no relation to theme of the park (animals or a zoo ). It is very nice to see animals like Tigers , Lions , Rhinos , Bears etc in a free environment.
