Located on busy Khao San Road, the Buddy Lodge serves as a good base for exploring Bangkok's sights and nightlife.
We had a room on the third floor, away from the street, so we didn't hear any noise from outside. The room was clean and well appointed with a big comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
Afternoons, when the rain came, we spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony(no view to speak of) and the satellite TV came in handy when the jet lag struck. If we weren't in the mood for late night TV, the dozens of clubs, bars, restaurants and shops on Khoa San Road were just outside.
The staff were friendly and helpful, speaking plenty of English, and the daily breakfast at the 5th floor restaurant/bar was good and had plenty of variety to keep us interested throughout our stay.More
