Interesting and authentic , well worth a visit and not far from BTS. Fees a bit expensive and shop was overpriced.

Interesting tour and the tour guides there are friendly with a good sense of humor! Be prepared for a 5-10 minute walk down the street to JT house, but fret not about walking out. There is a free buggy ride service to national stadium BTS and this service runs every 15 minutes.

After reading reviews we decided to take a look at the house. Yes, Jim Thompson did an incredible job. There is no denying the house is beautiful and interesting. I found the tour guide to be pleasant and have a good understanding of Jim and the house. A quick walk through was just enough for us.

Jim Thompson house is actually six old Thai houses dismantled and brought to this site. They are beautiful buildings, furnished simply but wonderfully. The whole setting in the middle of Bangkok is very tranquil.
