“Unmissable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

This is an excellent place to visit in Bangkok. The house is incredible, though not quite as incredible as Jim's story.
You got a real feel of Jim's love of Thailand.
The garden was a thrill and there was a silk spinner in the courtyard.
Great value at 100 baht

“Nice and crowded short visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2013

The visit was really nice though the small area was very crowded. The tour was professional. Quite crazy: the guide allowed us to bring the cameras inside but then you are not allowed to take pictures!?

“one of the gems of BKK”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2013

Been numerous times (a must for all my visitors) and always enjoyable--tour is not too long but gives a unique experience of a place, time and perspective. Lovely houses, garden, and art collection. Restaurant is also very good and in a great setting. Highly recommended.

“A bit of old Bangkok”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

Jim Thompson was an amazing man. He floated 3 separate homes down the canal and merged the three to create a comfortable home. We worth a visit.

“Nice short visit to learn about Jim Thompson House.....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

Been to Bangkok umpteen times but never had a chance to visit the museum. No regrets for visiting the house , only if you have extra time to spare. The tour is conducted very professionally but I like the Jim Thompson restaurant better, nice place to chill out for a drink after a hot tour.
