“Nice Cozy Accommodation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014

It is located between Don Muang Airport (Bangkok’s old airport) and Mo Chit Bus station. It is a bit out of the way, but for us it was perfect as we were only staying for a couple of days before taking a long distance bus to Chiang rai.

The hotel (service apartment) is very clean. Staff are quite helpful. The shower has decent water pressure and you can take a very hot shower. Our room has a small kitchen and balcony as well.

The breakfast was simple but in a nice restaurant on the second floor.

If you are in Bangkok for sightseeing, this place may be a bit out of the way but if you are looking for a place close to Mo Chit bus station or Don Muang Airport, then this is the perfect place for you!

We chose this hotel based upon its location near the airport. We were greeted with a fresh juice and a warm towellette. The room was clean, nicely appointed. Staff were very attentive and professional. The breakfast buffet was outstanding serving hot and cold breakfast items of both western and thai cuisine. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

If you have an early morning flight to catch from Don Muang airport or a short stopover in Bangkok then Cinnamon Residence could be a good choice. Within just 15-20 minutes you reach the airport and this will cost you around 100-150 bath. If you happen to be here during the weekend, the Chatuchak outdoor market (one of the largest in the world) is relatively close to the hotel.

If you have come to Bangkok to explore the city, I would really not recommend staying here. It is just too far from the city center and you will end up spending both time and too much money on transportation. There really isn't much to do in this area, keep that in mind. If you go to Soi/street 44, there is a nice cafe called "DOZE" where you can hang out. They have wifi, really good coffee and food.

The rooms at Cinnamon residence are really nice. As this place is still relatively new, they were in the process of getting things in order. There is a small swimming pool outside the restaurant and a few sun chairs. The staff was very welcoming and overall helpful!

In my opinion, the food here is overpriced. With taxes etc you end up paying almost 150 bath for a simple dish such as rice and chicken. Also, to my disappointment the breakfast mainly had rice and noodle dishes. I was missing something else than toast bread, an omelet would have been nice, cereals, youhurt etc.

Bangkok is probably one of the best cities in the world in terms of choice of fantastic hotels and restaurants. Majority of the hotels are very friendly and well run and really feels great to stay in those hotels.
Unfortunately Cinnamon Residences hotel is not in the same class.
It's a new hotel that was probably designed for a condominium and lacks the experience and attitude of a good hotel.

Location is away from the main road and in residencial location and far from every thing.
They have Just one small and very ordinary coffee shop to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Breakfast is sub standard.
It's annoying to read many small posters in the restaurants reading " if you pick up and carry food outside then fine 500 Baht, similarly in rooms " no smoking- fine 2000 Baht"
Then worst is that for first room key you need to deposit 1000 Baht and for second key 500 Baht more. The receptionist promptly tells you that if you lose the key then you lose that deposit too.

The hotel still has much construction activity going on.
However, rooms were spacious and neat.
Room terrif is quite same as any other standard well run 3-4 star hotel.

This is a brand new hotel and things are still being put in place. There seem to be an abundance of staff who are eager to please, with I'm guessing not a high occupancy rate as of yet.

The location is off a very busy road and the only possibility is to get a taxi, there is actually nowhere to walk to, the front desk can easily order a taxi. There is a 7 11 on the road and a couple of local thai food stalls around but that's it. It took about 10 mins to get to Don Muang airport so this would be a good place to stay if you need to overnight in BKK, at a good price.

The executive rooms were quite spacious and meant you didn't have to live out of one room as they had a living and dining area. We ordered room service which came quickly and was of good standard. Rooms were of good enough quality, and felt very new. Staff let us check in early morning which was nice, did try and charge first though.

I couldn't imagine staying here for anymore than one night, it served its purpose.

* Noisy air con unit, hard pillows, no welcome pack.

We stayed for one night as a stopover. staff were extremely helpful... Best we'd experienced in our 2 weeks away. The location is close to don meung airport and a short taxi ride to shopping malls. Only trouble is that there really isn't anything of note close by to walk to. The motel is in a narrow lane that makes walking a little unsafe dodging the passing cars bikes and semi wild dogs.
It does look like other buildings in the street are being upgraded so eventually it may be much better.
Each time we walked out the motel the staff offered to drive us to the end of the lane in their golf buggy (we went to the 7/ 11 and also once to get a taxi .,... Both of which were at the end of the lane.

I would recommend this place for stopovers or those happy to get a taxi to sight seeing locations.

It's 50sqft, clean, new, quiet environment, fresh modern deco, friendly and attentive staff and it's at a very affordable price.

The only thing I would suggest for improvement is the bathroom that I would love it more if it's give bigger room and the hot water to be hot enough.

I definitely will consider come back again.
