Perfect Location

Pick this hotel because it was close to the train station. But found it very easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. Paid extra for a room with a window and a view of the train station. You can pay less and get a room without a window, but remember to always get what you pay for. We found the staff both friendly and helpful, used the tour service next to the reception for a day out. We booked ahead for a car and driver to meet us at the airport, very easy to find with directions from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel for an overnight or a few days in Bangkok. We ate both breakfast and had the buffet lunch.

Room Tip: Pay the extra price and get a room with a window.

I'm allergic to dust . The ac would blow cold dusty air. I had ashma attacks 24/7. There is no ventilation. The restroom was moldy and the privacy glass allows you to see inside the restroom but not outside (ladies beware!) . Not a great place for kids as the walls are thin which allows you to hear fornication play. The locals around the hotel were not friendly ( I saw a tuk tuk driver force a foreigner to pay him for information ). The food was horrible for the tourist price they were charging , about $15/plate ( go to the local Paragon Mall , 10x cheaper and this is considered the most expensive mall). The tour guides are just the drivers that speak decent english , I found the price to be fair as they included hotel pick up, drop off, private party , and at your convenience.

The neighborhood in Chinatown was quite poor and shady at night ( lots of homeless ppl right in front of 711! Didn’t seem safe at night. And because of a small stream over water located in the middle of the street in front of the hotel there was a funky smell the two weeks I was there ) but it was convenient being by the railroad and metro.

This is no pool at the hotel that was the only downfall. Housekeeping was on point and was always clean. The room was always cool after coming back in from the heat outdoors. Staff was friendly like most people in Thailand. There was also plenty of taxi service waiting during the day to take you where you wanted to go.

All the pics posted was at the hotel or around the neighborhood

My partner and I were in Bangkok for 2 days and chose this hotel for its location as it was a 2 minute walk to the metro and train station so easy to get to the airports and surrounding areas. We arrived early and so left our bags at reception and went out for the day, the grande palace is a 30 min walk down the street and there are plenty of street food stalls along the way to try. Plenty of taxis and tuk tuks around the hotel to take you were ever you want to venture to but beware that they will up the price by more than 100% so do haggle. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The room was comfortable for what we needed for our couple day stay. The only grudge was that the breakfast was below expectation, the “hot” options were cold and there were not many food options either.
