We went to Sui Kin a number of times and the food never fails us! We went there again on Wednesday and the food was just superb. The quality of sashimi is the best we could find in Bangkok! Tofu is also highly recommended! Though we have to admit that the service is not that great as the restaurant was busy most of the time but the food and the ambiance totally compensate it! They also have great lunch deals! Can't wait to go there again soon!!

This place is apparently famous for their tofu. My wife and I are not fans of tofu.

However, I really believe this is the best japanese in town.

All products are very fresh. The taste is consistent and just impressive.

The Japanese Chef there runs his kitchen like a real pro and there is hardly anything negative that could be said.

We have been going there nearly once a week every week for the last 4 years and never been disappointed.

The price are fine when you consider the quality of the products they offer.

To conclude I would just say that if you like Japanese food and you live in Bangkok, this is the place to go.

One of the best Japanese Restaurants in Bangkok with great lunch set menus.
I have been here numerous times for both lunch and dinner and it's never disappoint!

It does, however, close in the afternoon, so this is not a place for a late lunch :)

We went to this Japanese restaurant 2 nights ago while in BKK. It's a hidden gem and truly Japanese.

It is a very sign when you walked in and see most of the customers are Japanese!

The interior design of the restaurant is also very good. You can seat at the bar, long communal table or private room.

The sashimi was so so fresh and just melt in your mouth ... should not be missed if you are there. You have choices of local fish or imported fish.

This restaurant also have homemade tofu and they do make them in various ways ... another interesting platter to try.

The sushi rolls ... good and plenty to choose from.

The grilled beef ....perfectly cooked with perfect sauce ... so tender and tasty.

The croquet ... definitely a twist but so creamy.

The food was so so delicious and a must if you want to try authentic Japanese in bangkok.

The only negative thing to say ... the staff was not too warm or friendly!

One of my favourite Japanese restaurant in Bangkok. I have been a long time fan of the chef from the old "Kan" restaurant at the Erawan (Grand Hyatt) to the current premise Sui King. Excellent Japanese cuisine with great service. On most days, especially at lunch time on a week day, over 90% of the patrons are Japanese expats.

For a quick business lunch and at very reasonable prices you can't beat Sui King. For a special meal, go for the chef's special Kaiseki menu and you will not be disappointed. Excellent food with some very unique dishes. Apart from the regular dishes, the head chef here make their own tofu and the variety and taste are out of this world!
