RECONSTRUCTIO

We went there beginning of June 2018, Buddha is under reconstruction so you can´t see much. Other than that just another big Buddha, nothing around.

Standing Buddha

Unfortunately the Standing Buddha was undergoing renovation, therefore all we could really see was a bunch of scaffolding. There was a various assortment of other Buddhas at the wat.

Don't waste your time

It could be a beautiful site to visit, but unfortunately is undergoing restoration (March 2018). You won't see anything and will only lose the 40 THB of the entrance. Please check if the works are completed before you consider visiting the site.

Under renovation

This temple is home to a 40-metre tall “Standing” Buddha. I believe that it would be a magnificent site to visit, but unfortunately when we were there, the monument was all covered up in scaffolding, undergoing restoration. Should you decide to visit this place anytime soon, be sure to check if the works are completed.

Tuk tuk scam

Terrible site. Really poor temple and budah under repair. Do not go if not in your original plans.

Part of the scam it to take you to a fashion shop claiming is a special offer day.
