Impressive structure, we visited early to avoid the crowds, well worth the visit, we went by tuk tuk for the emerald palace, great day sight seeing, plenty to see and ‘feel’, take some water if it’s hot. 100 bhat return to the emerald Buddha.

By far the largest and tallest Buddha I have seen first hand, its honestly very impressive in terms of its scale and size. Unfortunately it has scaffolding around it during my recent visit which took away some of the grandeur and power because you couldn't see the Buddha in all it's glory. The surrounding temples make for a nice experience all up and is still worth a visit.

I think this must be the tallest Buddha I saw in Bangkok it was in a courtyard with some lovely temples the architecture of the temple's is amazing the buildings are very intricate a adorned. We had a wonderful time exploring the area.
We where staying at Khao San Toad and the temple was 15 minutes walk from our Hotel. There is no entrance fee, the temple is really beautiful with the tall Buddha. Nice walk, worth visiting.
We went there when it was raining so we couldn’t really see much. There’s a huge Buddha but that’s about it.
