Bangkok is full of Buddha Temples. Wat Pathum is situated in the business and shopping district of the Pathumwan. Before embarking on the shopping malls we soaked in the serene beauty of this elegant Wat. If you are coming from Khao San, best way to travel would be to take the canal boat which brings you right at the doorstep of the Pathumwan district. Good way to explore the city.

This is another Buddhist temple in the city. There are lots of Buddhist temples here. If you have time and around here you can visit.

I was in Bangkok for a conference but was limited in time so we stopped by this temple nearby. It’s an otherworldly experience to be in such a peaceful location in between large shopping centers. It is a temple where people actually go to pray, so be quiet and respectful. There’s also a shrine right outside of it where you can pay your respects but I’m not sure we did it correctly!

Quiet and beautiful place in between chit lom bts and siam bts. There were some prayers going on when we arrived, adding to the beauty

Stop by in this small and beautiful temple when I walked to Siam Mall. Unfortunately, I was afraid to enter the temple. It feels quite, calm, sacred and peaceful in there.
