“5 reasons to ditch the sad hotel gym and work out at The Lab”
Reviewed April 6, 2013

1. It's fun: no complex choreography and PhD standard routines. The Lab has classes that are easy-to-follow and tailored to your needs. Simplicity with intensity; delivering results without the migraine. No class is the same, no rote-learning, no complacency, no boredom.
2. It's convenient: BTS access: ✅ Find it on a tourist map: ✅ Classes at useful and appropriate times: ✅Personal trainers v classes (same, same but different):✅
3. It's for everyone. Novice or industry legend you will meet your goliath here. There is no intimidation either in the atmosphere or the training. There is an unspoken unity in the goal of fitness for the sake of fitness. No attitude, no posing and no time-wasters (cos they get scared off)
4. It's flexible. Morning workout? No problem. Evening workout? No problem. Can only grab 30 minutes at lunch cos you're in the City of Angels for 24 hours and you don't want to spend 30% of it at the gym? Can do. No excuses. Live it large as you like, The Lab can keep you cut in BKK.
5. It works. In the end, inputs=outputs. Put the effort in at The Lab and see the results you desire. They have the knowledge and dedication to help you achieve your goals. You just need to show up, be present and give what you have to the equation.

Hope to see you there soon. I'm the one dying in the corner with the smile on my face!

Reviewed February 10, 2013

My butt is still sore, but not so bad that i cant travel around the city afterword. A great way to get a workout in during the crazy travel schedule, the staff are so nice and our instructor was well experienced. If your in need of a workout and want something organized, the lab is for you.

“The best place to train in Bangkok”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Always train here when I'm in Bangkok. Their unique approach to training is fun, has got me great results, and is actually somewhere I enjoy training, something I thought I'd never say about working out!

“Same, same? No! The LAB is truly different”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

Bangkok has a lot of gyms - in hotels, in condos and big chain gyms. If you want to keep in shape, you won't lack for finding a place to work out. However, it always comes down to the same equipment, the same spin classes, the same old free weights, etc, etc, etc. But, if you are interested doing something totally different and that will really test your fitness, then The LAB is where you should be.

The LAB is really more of a playground with all kinds of non-traditional gym equipment than anything else - don't look for an elliptical or a treadmill here! I'd never even heard of a ViPR, or Bosun Ball, or a TRX system before coming to work with the trainers at The LAB. But while they have all these cool toys, I've also been shown that with a small block of wood and an elastic band, you can experience a very challenging work out (don't believe me? ask for a "Tabata")! The group classes are a lot of fun, and I can promise you, you'll walk away very satisfied and happy that you are in Bangkok and can find a massage to unwind afterwards.

The trainers at The LAB are amazing. I've never met such a wonderful group of knowledgeable, energetic and supportive trainers that actively work together for the benefit of a class or, as in my case, an individual that might need a little extra care. The trainers are always collaborating and designing workouts that are new, different and extremely effective at raising anyone's fitness level. If you are someone that's been training for years, or just days, the LAB trainers can make you feel at home and challenge you, while having fun!

Whether you just drop in while traveling or want to join all the LAB Rats on a longer basis, The LAB will never disappoint - it's definitely isn't just another gym. It's so much better!
