“we loved this place, very nice!!”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

We did a reservation for 4 nights and I can only recommend the stay here, although the place is more expensive than other places around (I think it was 70 EUR per night). It is a new place in the Khao San Road area, last winter it was not there yet (soon they are going to open another one on the Soi Rambuttri street which is nearby).

During the check-in process we got a cold refreshing towel and a soft welcome drink. The staff speaks good English and was very friendly. The breakfast is included in the price of the room and it was very tasty, one could order more than just one breakfast item. Plus obviously they have a good coffee machine there too :)

The room was superclean, equiped by a fridge with a mini bar, hair-dryer, TV, AC,wifi, a small safe for valuables.... And the room itself looked really really nice - stylish wooden furniture, nice pillows, deco on the walls etc.. The bathroom was also very nice and clean, with hot water of course.

There is a pool on the roof and the pool was also very clean (although not very deep), with deckchairs around and with a bar where one could order drinks. It was actually the best pool I have ever experienced in the Khao San Road area.

It took a while to find the hotel, so make sure you have the phone number and address, it's a new hotel, so most of taxi drivers won't know it. If it helps it's located above a new Starbucks and Burger King, but don't let that put you off. It's well located, close to Khao San Road and Rambutti Road which are lively with lots of places to eat and drink. As a result thereof can be quite a bit of traffic and night-life noise close-by but it's not too bad, if you're a light sleeper a set of ear plugs should do the trick. Generally, most places in Bangkok are noisy!

Rooms are well sized, very nice, oriental-boutique-hotel style decoration and very clean. We didn't eat in the restaurant downstairs but it looked fine. Bar open during the day and at night it opens a further bar alongside the pavement serving cheap but good cocktails. The Burger King is open 24/7, but we had no disturbances and the bar closes around midnight so any noise from there quietens down and it's only bars close-by and traffic that may bother you.

Staff are also friendly and helpful and there's a on-site travel agent if you want advice or make any tour or event bookings.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the hotel and the Khao San area. It's an older part of the city, close to the river with a bit of charm but good night-life and restaurants.

It's a little more pricey than other places in the area, but it's definitely worth it! The rooms are perfectly clean, the staff is wonderful, the rooftop pool is beautiful, and it is in the best location, close to everything without being in the middle of the craziness of Khao San Road. We had 5 rooms here and the all of us completely enjoyed our stay here. Thanks Baan Chart!

Room Tip: There are 3 different room themes, all are beautiful, but I think the blue theme is the best.
