I have to say I was a little bit disappointed from this hostel. It has so crazy excellent reviews on booking.com that I thought it must be somehow special. It isn't. I was sleeping in a 4-bed-ladies-only-dorm which was actually quite pricey for what was offered. It was in the 4th floor (no elevator), whereas the bathroom and toilets were in the 2nd floor. The drains of two of the showers (3 in total) were blocked so you had to stand in the used water while having a shower. The bathroom was not very clean in general. In the toilets at the 2nd floor you had no privacy and could hear anybody who was inside or outside. Wifi was not working almost the whole time I was there (5 nights). Breakfast was included for walk in guests only but if you booked online (like I did) you had to pay for the (simple) breakfast if you wanted some. I actually wanted to book by phone by they told me I should book online. The staff was very friendly but most of them couldn't speak English very well and communication wasn't always easy. My room was really clean and quiet and I had an excellent sleep though. That was because I was in the last floor where only few people slept. The location is nice, quite a few nice eateries and restaurants around. Khao San Road is a 10 minutes walk away. All in all I think you can find something better for this price! It's not worth the money but for half of the price I would go there again.

Room tip: As the 4-bed dorms and private rooms are in the 4th (and last) floor I would recommend you to stay there if you want to have it quiet in the night and not wake up from the TV in the living room area or the people coming and going. Only suitable if you don't have problems with climbing stairs though.

Very tasteful rooms and communal area. Conveniently located at walking distance from the river, the museums and the main temples. Rooms, shower and toilets are very clean and have all the comforts. Large lockers are provided in the dorms. A nice travel library is available in the communal area as well as a large screen with DVD player. Breakfast is included. Very nice and friendly staff.

Stayed here for four nights but extended my stay as the hostel and the people here were awesome. Met so many people its difficult not too. The hostel is five minutes walk from Koh San Road but is far enough that you dont get any noise outside its really a quite area, a little haven just around the corner from the main busy streets.

The staff are cool too, all young and friendly. You dont feel like they are staff in a way its almost like they are travellers themselves. Security here is spot on you get your own locker which can fit the important stuff in and there is a key card access in the front door but there is always someone sitting in reception.

They have two communal areas upstairs and down, they have a big TV with a really good selection of DVDs and the staff even give me some of their pizza they ordered one night when I was sitting watching a film.

Wouldn't even hesitate to stay here again, I've met more people here then I have in all the other hostels put together.

Check out their facebook page for more pictures. The place has just been built recently so is brand new and clean.

All you need to do now is get yourself a bucket on Koh San Road and get wasted.
