Description: Little Beast is a gastrobar serving contemporary French American small plates and inventive drinks. Started by a group of friends, Little Beast is a place where we ourselves want to hang out, enjoying delicious food and drinks well into the night.Although Little Beast's official address is in Thonglor soi 13, our actual location is on a off street between Thonglor 11 and 13 which makes our gastrobar quite difficult to find. The easiest way to find us is: From Thonglor main road (Sukhumvit 55), turn into Thonglor soi 11. Go to the end of the soi where you will come to a T (a three way intersection where you will be forced to turn either left or right). Turn right and Little Beast will be on your left about 50m after the turn. Our sign is quite dark (we were inspired by the speakeasy aesthetics after all!), but there is a sculpture of a dog sitting on a bench right outside!

“Super delicious”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

We found the restaurant down an alley (look for the bulldog on the bench) and was fortunate to get a table inside as the place almost fully booked. Started by sharing thick cut steak fries (perfectly hot, crispy on outside, fluffy on inside), the delicious warm crab dip and the asparagus, watercress & shaved parmesan (zesty, fresh, so tasty). The roast lamb and duck were perfectly cooked and full of flavor; I had the lamb shoulder (that melted in my mouth) with cooked barley and carrot ginger coulis that was packed with flavor. The food was very creatively presented too. Although stuffed, we could not pass up on dessert, which turned out to be pure bliss - chocolate caramel tart (elevated to super yum with that sprinkling of sea salt), passionfruit chocolate tart (love the full passionfruit taste) and the banana tart (which was ok). The young lady chef was friendly and warm, it was wonderful for her to say hello and make us feel so welcomed. We really enjoyed our food very much. Highly recommended!

“Did I miss something?”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

We went there tonight for dinner having read all the great comments... However, we were rather disappointed...

We ordered the special which was zucchini flower stuffed with cheese. It was way too heavy. We had this dish before else where and it was done very light and flavorsome. In Little Beast, the cheese was too much together with the sauce.. I had one bite and left it there.. The other special was spicy sausage...hmmm i could taste the fatty bits in there and they were quite chunky in size... the sausages were not spicy and i can't say i enjoyed them even if they were not called spicy sausages. Then we had the corn beef hash..nothing special. Then we had the burger. It was ok and probably the fat chips that came with it was the best part of the whole evening.

We finished off with the ice cream sandwich... It was ok again. I don't think I will be rushing back anytime soon..

“Great food experience”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

Went last night for dinner and the experience was fantastic. Food quality was top notch and none of the 7 small plates we ordered disappointed. The service was incredible, and just enhanced the whole experience. Little Beast is just a feel good kind of place with great food. Prices are very reasonable for quality food like this. I will go back for sure.

“Best Meal we have ever had!”
Reviewed July 24, 2013 via mobile

Hands down the best meal we have had! We enjoyed every bit of our dining experience here, from the exceptional service, tasteful meals, great cocktails and wonderful atmosphere. We came here with another couple and were introduced to the amazingly talented chef Nan. We requested that she surprise us with a dinner of her choice. Wow did chef Nan deliver! Great for sharing tapas style meals. Would recommend coming here and sharing plates so you can try more of the delioucious menu. It is a fusion of various culinary flavours and has something for everyone! Price point is very resaonable for such quality. Loved Little Beast and will highly recommend it to anyone going to Bangkok. Looking forward to dining here again! Thank you chef Nan, and Andy and Becky for taking us to this little gem!

“Tapas in Thailand”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

When I travel back to Bangkok, I will definitely return Little Beast especially for the penne pasta with beef and black truffle mushrooms. This dish had such great flavors that our table ordered a second. I would also recommend the pumpkin tart, but make sure you ordered this as soon as your seated since the dish has a 25-30 minute lead time. If you're craving beef, we had the Australian grilled steak, but be prepared to pay almost 10 times the cost of the other plates offered (about US$73). The steak was mouth-watering, but not worth the price. With the exception of the steak dish, the price of the other dishes average US$8. Unfortunately, the restaurant's website is still under construction, so I'm not able to list the other dishes we ordered. The ambiance is hip, but a bit too dark. Little Beast has a full bar, extensive wine list, and personable bartender. I had my eye on dessert, but was too full.
