“A real insight into how Thai Artist mix the new with the Traditional”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

If this is your first visit to thailand, do not go. If you have been before or live in Thailand, this is GREAT place to see how modern art in Thailand is mixing traditional forms with the changing world. The changes in Thai society are expressed through the modern art of Thai artists. My only caveat is getting to the museum is a chore. It is located in the outskirts north of the city. Arrange a taxi and a return. Better still get a group together.

“"Beautiful collection, but rather pointed"”
Reviewed November 30, 2013

A little confusing at first, because the exhibitions are the top 3 floors. The exhibition currently being interesting though very sharp!

“amazing place”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

I had spent over 3 hour to visit there. It's too large, the open space. I wonder is it the most beautiful museum in Bangkok but with me It over my expectation. With 6 floor and over 400 artwork. I have never seen so much incredible art. It gave a great experience. The collection was various with a lot of filed such as: religion, corruption, prostitution and the loss of traditional values. beside that the museum offers a kaleidoscopic perspective on Thai culture and visual expressions. The admission were about 200bath.

“Stunning - Must see”
Reviewed November 24, 2013

The architecture and the displays are world class. Another proof that Thai creativity is amongst the best there is, and that the Bangkok art scene is to be reckoned with. Recommended for locals and visitors alike. Because of the novelty, you do not have the crowds you would have in Europe for a similar experience, just adds to the pleasure.

“Very impressive!”
Reviewed November 21, 2013

Absolutely worth the travel! If you want to enjoy without pressure, reckon 4 to 5 hours in the museum!
We loved that you can go much closer to the exhibits than in Europe AND you are allowed to take pictures!
An absolute must for every Bangkok visitor that likes art.
