“One more big mall in Bangkok”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

One more big mall in Bangkok. this one include IKEA and Big C. It's cold and impersonal as most of the mall in BKK except MBK maybe.
It's quite far from Bangkok center, you should take the BTS 'till "Udom Suk" station, take exit N°5, turn strait right down of the stair and walk 20 meter, stop just in front of the 7 Eleven. The shuttle bus arrive every 20 minutes for another 20 minutes ride to reach MegaBangna.
Except if you need to go to IKEA, it's absolutely no need to visit this place, there are such big mall in downtown (Siam Paragon, WTC, central, MBK, Terminal 21 .....).

“great and peaceful shopping”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

i had the hotel at on nut station - an did not want to go in to the city siam/mbk or whatever. Take the BTS to Udon Suk and take Exit 5, wait in front of the 7-11 store, the free bus shuttle will stop here. the bus shuttle timetable: from 07h till 23h all 20-30minutes. there 2 stops first-bigC, second-IKEA, the pickup will be also at these stops. the mall is very big but only on 2 floors, i was very surprised that the mall was not overcrowded, it was very nice to walk around and i shopped very peacefully a few shirts and shoes, there is a food walk, with restaurants and cafes. you can also shop at IKEA :-))
there are 2 supermarkets top and BIG C, and a Robison department store, an ice rink, bowling center and a cineplex. so fun is also waiting. the mall is open from 10h to 22h.

“Great mall with many specialty shops”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 31, 2012

I was here with wifey due to a scrapbooking shop here named Scrap@love. This is a huge mall with only 2 floors but the layout is very long. There is an Ikea attached to it. Lots of choices of food and cafés. There is also a prayer room for Muslims. Just ask for direction from the concierge of the mall. A bit out from city centre but worth the trip. We love it here.

“Mega it is!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2012

WOW, what a mall!! Mega is the right name for it, that is for sure!
And getting there was a piece of cake, because they offer a FREE shuttle bus from the BTS sky train station S12 Udom Suk
This mall has EVERYTHING, including Bangkoks first IKEA!!
Just opened in Nov, clean and not crowded. It is HUGE though.
Keep in mind, if you go to IKEA, the shuttle bus drops you off in front of IKEA and the pick up point is the same location.
Takes about 15 minutes from the station, but it all depends on Bangkok traffic. But, this is a great mall to explore and to keep coming back to.

“Not Really For Tourist, Great For Locals”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2012

If you are coming to Bangkok for vacation you probably aren’t concerned with verifying that Ikea sells the exact same products in every Ikea throughout the world. If you want a place to stop near the airport on before your flight leaves this might be ideal because of the many restaurants and it’s a nice spacious reprieve from all the cramped shopping that Thailand has to offer.
For the locals though this is great place to get any shopping you want done. There are two different grocery stores, lots of farang restaurants and basically a well-rounded shopping experience and place you can buy anything you may want or need. The one thing this place is missing is the little shops with cheap goods that you can often haggle with and a yummy local Thai restaurant.
