“Mega it is!!!!!”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

WOW, what a mall!! Mega is the right name for it, that is for sure!
And getting there was a piece of cake, because they offer a FREE shuttle bus from the BTS sky train station S12 Udom Suk
This mall has EVERYTHING, including Bangkoks first IKEA!!
Just opened in Nov, clean and not crowded. It is HUGE though.
Keep in mind, if you go to IKEA, the shuttle bus drops you off in front of IKEA and the pick up point is the same location.
Takes about 15 minutes from the station, but it all depends on Bangkok traffic. But, this is a great mall to explore and to keep coming back to.

“Not Really For Tourist, Great For Locals”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

If you are coming to Bangkok for vacation you probably aren’t concerned with verifying that Ikea sells the exact same products in every Ikea throughout the world. If you want a place to stop near the airport on before your flight leaves this might be ideal because of the many restaurants and it’s a nice spacious reprieve from all the cramped shopping that Thailand has to offer.
For the locals though this is great place to get any shopping you want done. There are two different grocery stores, lots of farang restaurants and basically a well-rounded shopping experience and place you can buy anything you may want or need. The one thing this place is missing is the little shops with cheap goods that you can often haggle with and a yummy local Thai restaurant.

“A nice quiet mall”
Reviewed August 29, 2012

Loved this place. It is about a 45 minutes drive from the city centre (near Suvarnabhumi Airport). Has decent brand stores (ALDO, Accessorize) and eating places. Not that much busy a shopping mall. IKEA is located next to this mall. Well worth a visit.

“An American Mall in Bangkok”
Reviewed August 20, 2012

Unlike most malls in Bangkok that cover many floors in a tall building, this mall is spread out on two levels in an oval shape. There are many good restaurants and shops, as well as major stores like Robinsons and IKEA. They run a frequent bus service to/from Udom Suk BTS station that is quite convenient.
